I have known Zach even before he started his own firm, as a real estate investor and real estate agent, I had at least a couple of deals each year will need Zach's helps. We found ZLAW from google regarding 4.9 high review to help us with a notary, however that is the worst experience we had.
We needed a file to be notarized so we can use outside Canada. There are 3 steps. First, find a lawyer or notary to notarize the files. Second, send the files to ODS(official documents service) to verify. Third, apply for consular certification.
We thought it was a very mature process and we totally trust ZLAW. We drafted the files and just need to notify them. They just put the seal on the file without signature. In order to protect themselves, they also asked us to pay extra fee to claim if the files doesn't work outside Canada they are not responsible for it. We are good with it.
When we sent the files to ODS, it was told signature is required. So we went back to ZLAW, their attitude was terrible. They insist they are doing the right thing. It was the issue from ODS and suggest us to went to ODS again. They also said we cannot go to the office and need appointment, but never told us when is the available time. We were very upset and went to the office, finally they signed the signatures.
The second day we went to ODS and the files are verified successful. We went to consulate to send files and was told need printed lawyer's info and a line of words say 'signed before me at xx place on xx day'. Their attitude was worse than last time. They said they cannot provide that line and if we need a certification we need to pay extra fees.
For now, we paid $200 and waste lots of time but the files not work. They rejected to refund and insist they already done their job. We were very disappointed and they didn't show empathy to clients. It was a horrible experience.

They always answered all questions we had quickly and patiently. They were also extra accommodating and flexible due to our closing being very rush in the end. Highly recommended!
