Pat and team have been our knights in shining armour both times we've used them. When curve balls have been thrown at the last minute (through no fault of their own) they have done everything they can to remedy the situation.

Excellent and timely communication, professional service, and a pleasure to do business with. Would recommend.

Given their website still uses stone-age insecure http-protocol, I don't know who would even access their webpage just get an overview of their services. It's perhaps a proxy of the numerous complaints in reviews of their work that feature multiple instances of carelessness, in this case a singular uncorrected carelessness that spans almost a decade: no s e r i o u s business in the modern world uses that protocol.

As I can't securely get in their internet front-door, that fact will have to suffice as a review, if you will, and an explanation for the single star; we are not allowed to post something without giving a score.

After I paid the fees, Patricia and her whole team of associates started ignoring my requests for help. Highly disappointed with this shop. Also, they over-charged me for fees, told me it was $1,200 but ended up charging me $2000 all in.

Used this office recently for a real estate purchase and although (for the most part) Patricia and her colleagues were friendly, there were simply far too many mistakes made in the details of the documents drafted to be able to recommend her services. Patricia was friendly and did try to compensate me on the pricing based on the inconveniences of her offices mistakes however they just continued to happen and marked the overall theme of my interactions with this business. Nice people but very poor attention to detail which is not an acceptable fault in a notary.

Needed a notary for my first time property purchase. The staff was friendly. Service is average, don't expect to have your concerns addressed quickly. I would say the team is quite knowledgeable. The attention to detail is where they are lacking, which is why i wouldn't give 3-4 stars. I had issues with simple mistakes in the application resulting in delays, loss of money, and stress. I tried a different notary for my next purchase and had a wonderful experience - smooth sailings... no hiccups.

Just signed my property purchase documents today, she is kind and professional. She told me all sort of risks and had taken care all of them. The price is reasonable. The transaction is not done yet, will post an update after it closed.

--------Update--------
Just got the email regarding the completion of the property transfer today. Everything is nice and smooth.
--------Another Update--------
After the transaction is completed one and a half months later, I received a land title registration confirmation letter from PattriciaWright notary public. They did an excellent job and this is way beyond my expectation. I recommend it.
--------Critical Update--------
Something unexpected happened after months. The seller is supposed to pay the property tax written in the contract but he probably forgot it. I received a notification that I owned the tax from the city and I told pat. Pat was very responsible and reliable, she paid the tax for me up front and activly communicated with the seller's solicitor. Today that the seller's solicitor reimbursed Pat. I totally don't think this is Pat's fault as the seller did not follow the contract to pay the tax. At the end I didn't have any lose. This notary is very reliable and worry free. Recommand!

I wish if I could give zero star; the experience I had with this notary was so bad that I feel like I have to write this here so hopefully no one else would go through the same issues. It's gonna be a long review, but I would suggest to read it through before choosing this notary.

- I had my separation agreement ready, and the purpose of the visit at this notary was to transfer the title of my property from a joint ownership with my ex to just me.
- my ex was abroad at the time. The notary told him that he should get the documents signed in BC attested by a BC solicitor. It was not possible causes my ex was not in BC!
- I spoke with my lawyer and he explained to me that what the notary says is wrong and the document can be signed anywhere in the world and he just needs to get it signed in a notary in any country that he resides.
- my lawyer had to speak with the notary; they did not accept his explanation and said they need to speak with their "society". It took them a while and they checked and finally confirmed that my lawyer was right and the document could be signed even outside of the country.
- in the whole process, I was in a big rush to get everything resolved, because I was going to refinance my mortgage and to do that, I needed the title change and I had a deadline to submit all the paperwork to the bank, otherwise I would loose the deal and had to go through the whole process of mortgage approval again.
- the delay that notary imposed on this process just because they didn't know what they're doing made my life miserable for at least a month! Moreover, because I had to consult my lawyer, I had to pay about $450 to him for the time he spent to explain to the notary how to do their job.
- in the whole process, the notary was not responsive at all. I had to call 4-5 times within a day and leave voice messages until I could get a hold of someone.

Conclusion: they are all over the place, they don't know what they're doing, they don't give you proper customer service and to be honest, I would stay away from them.
My experience with this notary was a nightmare and I'm so happy that it is over.

This was my 3rd real estate transaction (real estate sale) and I wish I had found this office before.

- Can tell she knows her stuff
- Translated real estate legalese into Mugglespeak really well
- Didn't rush me with the details; made sure I knew what was going on
- Explained to me what to expect for possession, funds transfer
- Efficient, well run office
- Pricing is great

Only downside was that I waited about 8 minutes to get in, but I didn't let them know before that I was on my lunch and was in a hurry.
