I used Bradley for my house that I bought. Quick and professional, got the job done right, at a fair cost. Would highly recommend, and would use his services again. Thanks!

I was appalled and offended upon reading the comments regarding Mr. Bradley Wright’s handling of my late cousin’s Will.
For good reasons, my late cousin strongly felt that she needed a new Will. I was in close touch with her as her chosen new executor. She was intelligent, of sound mind, and able to discern issues and make decisions independently. Clearly, Mr. Wright found that to be the case as well.
Over the last 25 years, I have worked with many legal professionals; and my experience in working with Mr. Wright has been exemplary. Mr. Wright is a consummate professional, with excellent attention to detail, client support, legal advice and the highest level of ethics and professional standards. I would have no hesitation in working with him again and would recommend him to anyone.
Casting aspersions on Mr. Wright’s reputation and character is not only unfair, but slanderous.

I highly recommend Bradley Wright's services. He is knowledgeable and patient in explaining things. He also has a sense of humour that is very good at defusing stressful situations. You can tell that he genuinely cares about the wellbeing of his clients. We are probably at the younger end of his client list, but he made my wife and I feel just as important and respected as anyone else.

I was referred to Brad by a friend and found him to be a highly competent lawyer who is clearly a subject matter expert in the areas of law that he practices. We had an initial phone conversation to discuss my questions about his services and firm, and he was very detailed, patient, and clear in explaining everything. If you are looking for a lawyer who will actually give you the time of day and perform high quality, thorough work, Brad is an excellent choice.

Excellent personal service for a very reasonable fee! I saw Mr Wright for a fairly standard real estate transaction - purchase of a new home from a builder. He took time to explain things to me and he coordinated well with my investment advisor. I definitely recommend Mr Wright!

Hubris leads to failure to be diligent.

This is simply a fair review of the impact of Bradley Wright’s failure to be be diligent and the impact on a mentally ill man. It is also a plea to others who have concerns with Wright to formally complain to the Law Society.

Wright appears to be a member of the Law Society’s board of directors. From his correspondence, he appears to believe himself infallible. Given his connections in the professional governing body, the checks and balances needed on him are likely absent or limited. The Society is unlikely to act without overwhelming evidence.

First I do not know Bradley Wright and have not sought his services. The comments are based on his written correspondence and decision to not respond to his failure to be duly diligent. Maybe Wright did just enough to meet a basic role. If this is all you expect from a professional, so be it. His failure to be duly diligent has had massive repercussions.

Wright obtained a new Will from an unwell woman who had suffered multiple strokes and passed away a few months later. The woman was relatively young and was deteriorating rapidly.

The major beneficiary of her original Will was an incapacitated sibling who had been in supervised care for decades. Protections were built into the original Will to ensure that the funds were to be held in trust.

Wright certified a Will where the protections were removed and the percentage bequeathed to her incapacitated sibling was severely diminished. The new executor’s family became the major beneficiaries under Wright’s certified document. The protections were key component of her wishes to her previous attorney who contacted Wright, noting this and the introduction of two new beneficiaries who were never previously mentioned or discussed but appeared to be closely related to a newly appointed executor.

Wright’s written response demonstrated a belief in his own infallibility. He stated that after a series of cursory questions that he was able to state the ill woman was competent. Review of his response by other professionals left them shocked and appalled. The changes in the Will at such a late hour penalizing a sick relative and benefiting the executor’s family just did not pass their smell test.

Wright did not appear to know the ill woman well. He neither bothered to review her previous Will nor apparently speak with her treatment team. Other lawyers found this odd. No He, Bradley Wright, a lawyer could certify she was competent, not being manipulated or coerced. Medical professionals who know her course would hesitate to make the same claim. Gosh with such power and insight, one wonders if Wright rests on the 7th day too!

Wright compounded his mistake and signed a document stating erroneously that the incapacitated beneficiary was competent. The executor and his family visited the incapacitated beneficiary and obtained a signature on a document previously sent by Wright. His supervisory team was never informed of their visit or their intent.

Meeting the executor and his family triggered the ill beneficiary and accelerated his deterioration.

I do not know or care to know Brad Wright. Regardless of what he previously accomplished, he dropped the ball here in his carelessness, which he compounded by his pomposity.

All human are fallible. Pretending or believing to not be is something no one, especially a regulated professional should do.
