Timothy does an outstanding job!

As first time home buyers, there is a lot of information to go over. Timothy took extra time just to make sure that we understood not only the legal aspects of everything we were doing, but added in some great information about property tax paying which we might not otherwise have known and was really above and beyond.

He also goes to great lengths to protect you as a client by really investigating all of the documents so you can feel comfortable putting a home purchase in his hands.

Would recommend Timothy to any friends and family that need a solid, friendly and diligent Notary!

Terrible experience in dealing with this notary, definitely will not recommend to anyone. I had decided to have Timothy Ko work on the land title transfer (conveyancing) transaction on the purchase of my new condo based on a recommendation from an acquaintance.

Everything appeared to be going relatively well with the paperwork in order until the completion date from the developer was sent to the notary. The office called me the next day to obtain a few pieces of information and advise of the next steps. Immediately after the call, I received a follow-up minutes later saying they cannot complete my transaction by the stated completion date due to some issue with the building electricity (power outage issue of some sort). Honestly, I think this is a ridiculous excuse.

No effort or accomodation was made whatsoever. Why did they inform me so late that they wouldn't be able to complete the transaction? I had to scramble and quickly find another notary in order to finalize the conveyancing by the completion date set by the developer. Also, the fees charged appear to be more expensive than other notary offices.

I had found all of this to be very unprofessional and a waste of my time. There are better options out there for sure.
