Had a great experience with the purchase of our first house. However, when we sold and purchased our current house, we had a new lawyer out of Ottawa. Remember inquiring about the hot water rental agreement. He didn't look into it, and now we have been stuck paying $5000 in rental fees, with a $5000 buyout option. Total scam. After we revived the first rental bill, we called the lawyers office to see if anything could be done, but they didn't call us back. Do not recommend!

How this office has a 4.6 rating is BEYOND ME. Must be bought reviews. If there was an option for negative stars that is what I would give. First impression walking into this place was that it reminded me of a pop up shop. It had zero personality or warmth. No personal touches. I went to this office to have a consultation on a 20yr old will and from there was hoping to have it modified to reflect changes over the last 20yrs. We met with Leon Efraim and the experience with this man was less than professional. He became extremely defensive when relating a previous experience with their office. He was quite snide and his demeanor was ignorant and dismissive. The meeting was short and nonproductive. When I reached for our file he snatched it away from me saying it was proprietary and we had no right to review it even though it was in our file for 20yrs. He also said I could take him to court if I wanted it so bad. Which was laughable and such a childish response. Without going into great detail I would avoid this little man at all costs. His lack of professionalism, caring and understanding makes him a very undesirable choice. I wouldn’t let him care for a goldfish let alone my personal affairs.
SIDE NOTE If looking for a lawyer to handle your Estate affairs look into Kelly Greenway Bruce. They had top notch professionalism and compassion.

Leon Efraim is an amazing Lawyer. He assisted me in the sale of my corporation in 2021. Again in 2023, with very short notice, he prepared all my legal work including doing all transfers all my remaining corporations, properties and shares, to my children, adding and changing title and mortgage information etc. with little notice to get it done quick, when I was moving to the US. His rates were more than reasonable and he was always available to chat or answer random emails from me. He also helped me find a good cross border accountant. I highly recommend Leon, they don't come much better. It is so important to have a lawyer you trust and knows his stuff!!
