If you're looking for a way to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and recharge your batteries, look no further than Thanksgiving Ranch. My husband and I recently had the pleasure of spending some time there, and let me tell you, it was truly unforgettable. The quiet atmosphere, the team's warm hospitality, the stunning views, the food cooked by Brad (owner) was special this all contributed to making our stay unforgettable. The horseback riding was the cherry on top, guaranteeing that we would be left with nothing but happy memories. Choosing Thanksgiving Ranch will undoubtedly be an excellent choice!

We have stayed at this majestic place between August 19-21 with my family. Brad and the rest of the family are exceptionally friendly people. The hospitality is beyond words. The nurture you get to experience is unique and so peaceful. I would repeat this trip as many times as I could afford.

Thanksgiving Ranch is a slice of heaven. From the moment we passed through the property gates, we knew we had arrived at a special place. The air was clear, the grass smelled sweet, and the sound of Pincher Creek and the calling of the birds formed the gentle soundtrack of a vista that stopped us in our tracks.
We savored every moment of our relaxing time there—from the scenic rides around the property on horses that know their land, and the cattle grazing nearby, to the delicious meals made with uncompromising attention to flavor and presentation.
The main lodge was spectacular to behold, yet provided a cozy space to enjoy quiet time completing a puzzle, reading a book, or playing a board game. Blankets and a firepit on the deck kept us warm during our late-night stargazing, which revealed a view of the Milky Way glowing brightly against the natural darkness around us.
Brad and his incredible team have created a place where every effort is made to craft beautiful memories for their guests. My mother-daughter trip was beyond what I had hoped for and will always be one of the most wonderful travel experiences I’ve had the privilege to enjoy.

Thanksgiving Ranch, a truely magical place. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the sublime view offered by Thanksgiving Ranch. The place is perfect for getting away from everyday life and taking a break.

The serene atmosphere of the Ranch is dictated by the incredible hospitality of Brad and the staff. We feel welcome from the moment we put foot on the property. The ambiance and the luxe of the lodge, the place is very clean and the quality of the meal are sublime!!

Horseback riding is one of the activities on site that allows us to appreciate even more all the work of the Ranchers who raise cattle and allows us to enjoy excellent Alberta steak!

Have staycation in Alberta

All smiles, and yes, a wonderful place to spend a couple of days at The Lodge at Thanksgiving Ranch. We were in awe by the expansive and natural beauty and luxury of this working ranch near Waterton National Park.

thank you, thank you, THANK YOU - we more than appreciated the friendly welcome from the owner Brad. He radiates human kindness and caring. For us, and best of all, it was learning about the cattle operation and taking time to enjoy the guest facilities. Absolutely, the scenery is stunning, the Lodge and accommodations luxurious and spacious, and the food delicious and healthy. (Brad is a great cook too). We were happy to purchase ranch-made quality pantry foods from the Mercantile - all inspired by local Alberta foods.

Possibly our best stay anywhere ever! We’ll be back to watch herding cattle from one paddock to another. Our pleasure to meet you - thank you Brad and family.

This isn’t 5 star worthy…..its worth 50 stars.
The views, the relaxing home, the food (steak was amazing, every meal was DELICIOUS), and the hospitality is the best we’ve ever had. If you’re considering visiting Bradley and his family’s ranch….go ahead and book it. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to start our vacation in Canada/Glacier. Thank you for a wonderful time!
