Did you know if you and your spouse don't both file tax returns you cannot receive the Child Tax Benefit? Even if one of you doesn't make an income? I certainly didn't. In short filing only for the primary breadwinner is not sufficient and will cost you household income by way of the Child Tax Benefit.

Not having this brought to my attention as a customer of this business is incredibly underwhelming and now the only thing more disappointing is needing to reapply for the tax benefit and possibly wait months for it.

I would not recommend this business.

What a process. Appointment took forever, she took calls to order craft supplies while we waited. Had to return several times to correct errors, tried to chase us down for child tax forms (we had no children), huge fee. Also tried to make us feel guilty for not having more investments, and tried to sell us life insurance products.

Veronique is very knowledgeable and gets you the maximum return. She is very assertive and doesn’t have great bedside manner but I appreciate how she tells it like it is and gives us great advice. Fees are a little higher but worth it if you sre getting a better return than you would with other accountants. She didn’t try to upsell us either. We have used her for 3 years now and will continue.

There were numerous errors on my tax return. Very expensive fee. I ended up getting someone else to fix my taxes.
