Please be aware of this law office, most unprofessional, ignorant and rude law office in Kingston. It took them 9 months to send my deed over to the municipality as a result property tax is now in the rears over $4,000 and all I got when called regarding this was "sorry for our oversigh"! Then was spoken rude to and hung up on, but not before being told from the lawyer her self, "your military you should have known better"!!

Bought my first home and used tarnowecky. I paid to have 250L propane on close date, however ran out in 8 days. Tarnowecky said they had no proof it was filled, then the next day said they did. Also tried to tell me I went through 250L of propane in 8 days (1000 square foot house). Law clerk told me to call the propane company to learn how I apperantly went through 250L of propane in 8 days, although the company confirmed it wasn’t filled at close. Honestly felt like the lawyer I paid thousands of dollars to was against me the entire time and did nothing even tho the agreement wasn’t met. Also had to ask three times over a month for them to finally send my paper work. Would not use them again under any circumstances nor would I recommend them, stay away. Terrible experience if you’re their client.

I was referring this law firm to my clients over the years. Recently, I've heard from some of my clients that how the communication from the firm was poor, and how they kept making mistakes in the letter of adjustments and asking for more money last minute.
Unfortunately, I personally faced a terrible experince with this law firm which caused us so much of time and financial loss. We worked with Ivanna Tarnowecky for the purchase of our property. Unfortunately, despite numerous communications, she failed to follow our instructions and failed to protect our interest in the transaction. Natuarally, in any transaction if the seller fails to fulfill a task, the lawyer holds the funds until the work is done. Despite numerous requests, she failed to do so. On top of that, our title insurance claim was denied because the wrong advice the firm gave us on the closing date.
Maybe this firm was good at some point. However, they drop the ball simply because they're too busy and the lawyers are not available to communicate or provide advice.
Needless to say not only I won't come back here myself, I'll make sure my clients work competent and proffessional law firms and lawyers in the future.
