Myself and my family's experience with Tarja deserves less than a one star rating. She was contracted by my mother to do up her will and be her executor in 2013. My mother died in June of 2023 and it has been a nightmare dealing with Tarja. She doesn't answer emails or phone calls and it requires a visit to her office (which is inconvenient as none of my mother's heirs live in that city). Despite requesting she step down from her position as executor as she wasn't doing what was required she continued to promise she would "do the job." Finally more than a year after my mother's death she agreed. It is now going to be up to myself to have the court grant me a "Grant of Administration" so I can take on the responsibilities of executor. Please take my experience and do not deal with this woman!

I also found Tarja and her office a nightmare. Don't return calls or emails. Tarja won't take calls even though she is clearly in.
Lying about things being ready and at last minute saying they are not. Waiting months for her to complete a simple request. Her professional association should remove her license
No one should be allowed to run a business this way!

I’ve known Tarja for many, many years. First, through the horse riders community and then respected her position as a notary public. Tarja had conveyed MANY homes that my spouse and I have bought and sold, and was always there for last minute requirements when we needed her. She’s done my will, my Mom’s will, she has notarized many documents for us and she is always so pleasant to deal with. Polite and kind and accommodating. I’ve used Tarja for over 10 years and will continue to do so.

I would like to share my experience regarding Tarja and her office staff, which unfortunately has been characterized by extreme unresponsiveness. We have been attempting to update an address for more than a year, starting our initial contact in January 2022. The lack of attention and disregard for our concerns is truly unacceptable. Despite our consistent follow-up through emails and phone calls, we have never received a response from anyone. It is truly disheartening to witness such a lack of care. I strongly advise against utilizing their services if you expect prompt and efficient resolution of any matter.

Absolutely friendly reception and Tarja her self seemed quite nice but I found out later she is twice the amount of other notaries ‍♀️ A friend got the exact same things notarized for half the price elsewhere. Live and learn lol

I had a highly unsatisfactory experience with this notary service, which turned out to be a complete waste of my time and money. The service quality was absolutely appalling! Their communication is abysmal; they never bothered to respond to any of my inquiries. It seems like their sole objective is to attract new clients just once, without any intention of providing ongoing support. Additionally, when I needed something corrected or addressed, they conveniently claimed to be "too busy" despite having numerous available slots the day before.

We have used Tarja's services on three occasions now, two of which have been for the conveyancing of our home. I would certainly recommend her. The services we have received have been excellent. There were no issues arising whatsoever. The service is efficient, prompt and of good value. We will certainly use her services again!

I have used Tarja’s services several times for Real Estate transactions as well as other legal matters. Generally, I received satisfactory services, considering she is a notary rather than a lawyer. On this occasion, I made several calls to check charges for a simple, straightforward conveyancing. Her quote was $300 less than others, so I returned to her. I made an appointment well in advance and was given no instructions regarding any documents that I needed to bring. Upon arrival, I was told that I needed two documents, both that I had already packed in preparation for my move! This led to a rush to locate them and get the information back to her on the same day. I suggested that it would be helpful to be given such information on the phone, but she gave no response. I also asked why she had deducted an additional $135 in fees, and her response was noncommittal. She held back $500 for payment of utilities, even though I assured her that my account was up to date and the payout would be less than $100. Two weeks later, having heard nothing, I called the Utilities office and was informed that an email had gone out to her with that same information. I then emailed her, politely asking again why she had charged higher than her quote and why I hadn’t received the balance of the holdback, expecting that it would be e-transferred, as were the other funds. She did not reply. A week went by, and I emailed again, less politely, asking where my money was. No reply. Several days later, I phoned her office and asked her (very pleasant) receptionist to find out where my money was. She returned my call within a short time, stating that she had my cheque and would mail it along with a letter that same day. The cheque and letter have now arrived. My concerns were not addressed. I will not utilize Tarja’s services again, nor will I ever recommend her. I expect to be treated with courtesy, and to have my questions answered in a professional manner. I do not expect my money to be treated as if it was hers to do with as she chooses.
