Completely fraudulent, major headache scam central. This so called accounting business is not an accounting firm, Peter Singleton is not a chartered "accountant". He is a scam artist and profiteer trying to capitalize on trusting business owners. He deceptively operates out of a business center with a small messy office and a reception service. We were lied to countless times and excuses made along the way. We contracted and paid him $420 to register a business being told there wouldn't be any provincial registration requirements and ended up repaying all over again twice because Corporations Canada and Service Alberta said it wasn't done correctly. They had no clue why he even set it up the way he did aside from the obvious fact he kept the money and cut corners in the process. Filed a dispuit/chargeback through our CC company which they denied because it was past the 120 day period. I even asked for a Jan 1 fiscal registration date numerous times and instead Peter registered it on the 2nd. Again, he lied saying they were closed. We personally confirmed with Corporations Canada that their online service was in fact open on the 1st and there was no excuse why he didn't do this except from the fact he was likely hungover from the new year and didn't care to get around to it. We noticed he's changed his website descriptions and now charging over $600 for this same scam service. The big one, and here's the real kicker is he repeatedly kept denying our business name searches saying the names weren't available only to discover he's running his own side business with practically the same name, this guy is unbelievable.

Small Business Tax Accountants (SBTA) is, in my opinion, the best accounting firm in Canada. SBTA has a great team of very knowledgeable, customer oriented staff who go out of their way to educate their clients on accounting, bookkeeping and tax strategies that most other firms aren't aware of. I have been with them for 2 years now and am planning on staying with them long term.
