Was charged an "little extra" when I ordered my glasses even though they should have been covered. Then when I went to pick them up, he tried to charge me the same amount again. Luckily I had my receipt. Makes me wonder if some people are paying extra twice without knowing it.

Amazing service!!! My old frames cracked during a lens repair, (they were very old glasses), and I was immediately offered a similar pair, for free!
I bought another pair after this incident, they have a great selection of frames. My glasses were ready within a few days, and I really like my new frames! Thank you so much!

Team member who assisted me was very helpful and patient while I was taking forever to decide which frame to buy. Am glad I went in and tried the Slave Lake Eye Care.

My son's glasses were loose and needed to be refitted. My wife took him to Slave Lake Eye Care for this and was told they could do this simple procedure. They began to heat the arms slightly to bend arms to fit my son better. For whatever reason, they thought it would be a good idea to heat the nose piece.

This is the part where they denied doing this. But in fact, when they gave my son's glasses to him, this part was warm as if it was heated. The main problem is when they did this, it melted the coating on the lenses for uv and blue light. When this happened, the coating blured the lenses, and now my son is looking through the lenses like it's foggy. He can barely see in two spots on each lens beside the nose piece.

My wife took the glasses back immediately after my son said something shortly after fitting. She was met with rude behavior and the denial of them doing anything wrong. My wife felt cornered and was told my son could see an Optomatrist for his yearly checkup as if his eyes had dramatically changed in the past 45 minutes.

I'm not done dealing with this issue as I wasn't there at the time. I will be going back, and if this post is still on here, then they never did anything.

I expect a new set of glasses for my son.

I knew I would get the response below saying they are innocent. They clearly wrecked my son's glasses and don't have the respect to me and my family to admit it. We are very hard working family with values. For them to respond saying other costmers there at the time can vouch and security cameras to prove is utterly disrespectful! Move on, people. The other eye care center in Slave Lake have much better reviews.
