I didn't mind Shawn but the staff I had to deal with was horrible. I had to constantly chase them to do things for me and I was billed every time. I would wait weeks with no information ask the exact same questions and be billed twice for only one answer because I asked multiple times over the month. They had all my info and would ask me for it again to bill me for the interaction. The process was needlessly painful and drawn out. Since his staff represents his office I wouldn't give a positive recommendation.

Saw this man today about getting my power of attorney for personal care done for my dying brother in palliative care. He was accusing me of lying and telling me I should have come earlier to get this done instead of waiting till the end. He kept calling my daughter my brother's daughter thinking he'd catch us in a ly. Needless to say it last 30 minutes of belligerent rude accusations and judgement. Never did I expect this kind of treatment from a so called professional profession. I hope who ever is reading this pays attention and doesn't go to McNamara in Lindsay, Ontario. This lawyer is a bulldog! He SAVED my relationship with my daughter in 2008 and helped to reunite us. Children's Aid is NOTHING when you have this man as your attorney. I will sing his praises til the day I die. This man deserves a medal. God bless him and his secretary who is also a compassionate caring person.

Witnessed him as a defense lawyer today in a case at the Lindsay Court House Room 1, 17-October-2017. He did little to nothing for his client. Client would of received the same outcome had Mr. McNamara not been representing him. Cross examinations of the witnesses were non-existent. You would do better representing yourself if that was Mr. McNamara's standard efforts.

This guy is a joke all he wants is money up front he refused to talk to me without paying first. He doesnt care about justice just money and if you dont have it then you are sol might as well rep yourself as he clearly has no idea what hes doing. Shawns secretarys are pathetic and have the personality of an office chair other then there rude sass they had no input on when or if he would contact me. Id give it a 0 star but it wont let me thats how sh*tty his service is thanks for nothing shawn!👊😡

Garbage lawyer I phoned Monday didn't get a call so I phoned again Thursday they said that they didn't call me back because I mentioned legal aid they don't care about any case they just care about cash I asked if I could talk to Shawn they wouldn't even leave him a msg just expect me to pay 450 before I even talk to the guy that sounds like a shady lawyer can't even phone people back without paying 450 upfront just because your a lawyer Shawn doesn't mean your above everyone else maybe u need new secretaries the ones I talked to were rude as hell and aren't even passing a msg along that someone in need needs to talk to u worst u could do is say can't help me but your not even calling me

This guy is a big fat joke. He has done nothing. He does not listen to what we have to say to help us with our case.
Every time we go in to go over the case that should take an hour or so we are out of there in less then 30 minutes.
