Andrea and Luisa are amazing. My husband and I have finally found the people we can trust to do our taxes from here on out. They are so easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and able to explain complicated matters in a simple easy to understand way. Tax season will not be an overwhelming time now that we have Sapphire on our side. I feel at ease and would recommend their services to anyone and everyone. Previously a great company to deal with. Unfortunately this year we found the current process is like self serve purchases. You do all the work and they get paid. We've had Trusted Accounting and Tax Services do our taxes and saved 50% off Sapphire's charges by switching. I assume, new building location and they have more overhead.

From the start to the end of our 2022 Tax filing - Sapphire made the process so simple. From uploading documents (no pesky drop off needed), the online electronic signature gathering, to a seem less and secure payment process - this was so simple and soooo easy. I appreciate that they asked some confirmation questions throughout the filing.

Would advise going elsewhere. While I have no real complaint about the returns themselves (were done on time and properly, as far as Revenue Canada was concerned), my returns were simple personal returns. My issues stem from the attitude of a few front line contact people over five years (in person and via email), AND, most concerning, from the so-called CEO, Andrea. Attitude lacking in social graces (she actually called me a liar without actually calling me a liar), does not make for the kind of confidence one expects from any business one trusts with their personal information. This particular situation arose when I found a local tax accountant (I had moved from Edmonton in 2019) primarily due to their move to "app" based processes. I don't 'do' apps. They have lost a few clients, apparently, due to this new process. While requesting the return of any hand-delivered documents for my files, I was told, by Andrea, that it was doubtful any document (s) had been hand-delivered (the 'liar' scenario mentioned above). Really? I had actually driven, from my new home an hour out of Edmonton, in 2020, to deliver my 2019 T4s. My brother, (who lives in Edmonton), tried to deliver my T4s for the 2021 tax year, but was turned away! Was told app delivery only. Imagine! If they are losing customers, and are wondering why, perhaps reading the negative reviews will help them understand..!

Dropped off tax receipts, income slips etc. at noon and was completed the same day. We'll beyond expectations. Very accommodating and helpful Same.excellence as last year. As before they continue add a touch of humor to their emails. Love it.
