Find a different firm to do your real estate transaction!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with this law office. We were never informed upfront about the high legal fees we would be charged, and had we known, we would have never gone with them. Even our bank was shocked at the cost and considered it excessive for a simple mortgage transfer.

To make matters worse, the firm took funds directly from our certified cheque without any notice or authorization. We never signed anything giving them permission to do so.

After the fact, I discovered numerous reviews from others who experienced similar overcharging and surprise fees. I wish I had seen those sooner.

Transparency and honesty should be the bare minimum in legal services, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here. I cannot recommend this firm and would advise others to look elsewhere.

Felt taken advantage of, 1 hr meeting, ended up being told had to pay additional 1/2hr. Was told given me a deal as it was closer to 2 hrs because he spent time preparing it was 1 page document?
Spent close to $680 for less than 3 min advice. I was shocked! Shame on this firm.

They have helped me through small legal questions all the way to purchasing personal and commercial real estate and setting up corporations. They have always been fast to respond and knowledgeable. I ended up going to another law office due to my experience at RBHF. I believe I was taken advantage of because I am a young female. I was constantly being charged for service yet had no answers or progress. I am thankful I went to another firm before spending all my money on such a simple request.

I've left reviews for Lanny Kamin of Kamin LaFrance another lawyer I used . Although I fired Lanny because Gordon at RBHF had told me that Lanny was procrastinating, I would rather have that l, then a someone directly lying to my face as Gordon did. Told what I wanted to hear so he got my money. The best part Christmas eve I get an email, telling me I didn't have a chance. I fired him represented myself and got my time with my kids. Your are a waste of skin a liar and a manipulator of the worst kind. Taking advantage of volunerable people during seperations when kids are involved. You should be ashamed of yourself.

After repeated mistakes, we found Jennifer Foster's immature reaction to criticism and subsequent hissy fit, her tendency to minimize or ignore mistakes, her failure to admit fault and apologize, and indeed - the assembly line work ethic of her firm - should be information available to all potential clients.
