Worst kind of professional
I highly recommend that you do not ever use Roberts & company especially the owner Brian. He's friendly and nice and professional on the phone and when you send them documents he'll gladly take them but he won't do anything. If you're in arrears with the CRA or need to do anything under a time constraint this is the worst type of professional accounting firm and the worst type of professionalism I've ever experienced.

I had some clear cut HST issues one month to deal with them and gave him several days in which to look called on a Friday, left message. It's now Wednesday still no response left a voicemail this morning nothing totally ghosted.

I do not recommend Brian's service or his firm at all.

I always feel so comfortable when dealing with Van Nostrand & Partner! I had not filed my taxes in 3 years and Brian never once made me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. Running a business is a lot of work and this accounting firm makes it easy! I highly recommend them.

My experience with Van Nostrand and Partner was great fromstart to finish. I own a small business and needed help with my accounting, even though I have a business degree it turns out I know next to nothing about it. I felt like the staff at Van Nostrand and Partner excelled in all areas that I find important in a business relationship. They are very knowledgeable, professional, had great communication and kept me in the loop the whole way through the process, not to mention they finished my accounting services in a timely manner.

I have decided to keep an ongoing relationship with them for my accounting needs every year moving forward. Prices are fair compared to other accountants of their level. You may be able to find a cheaper price, but accounting is one of those things that you get what you pay for from what I have heard and seen in my previous dealings.

Owning your own business is hard and takes up a lot of your time. As stressful as it may be, you find the need to try and do it all on your own, but that is not always the best route to take. I would 100% recommend Van Nostrand and Partner for any accounting services, I am so glad that I have found a company that I can trust with this very important part of my business! Cheers!

Not recommended. I was charged over twice the quoted price that was agreed to for my 2014 tax return. When I pointed out the difference the response was that they checked into it and there is nothing they could do about the invoice.
