Experience with the lawyer was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. 2 reason for lower rating, interaction with administrative/assistant member is very mechanical. Not a big issue, at times I like it that way - business is business. The lack of communication and interpersonal experience leave me wondering if I am being taken care of. Until the last couple of weeks prior to closing when all the necessary documents are being requested and things start to get very fast pace. Main item that bothers me are the lack of communication among their members. There were 2/3 people assisting in my file and it seems they do not cc each other in their communication in the beginning. Ultimately I got requested for similar documents and information several times.
Have a feeling the administrative team is over burdened and everyone is handling everything at the same time. Better communication and organization would make it a whole better experience.

We are a first time home buyer. When we were initially making some calls to various lawyers to get quotes we were able to reach RealEstateLawyers.ca LLP, very quickly and their customer service was quick to answer and took their time to answer our various queries. On the other hand, some other lawyer firms said that they will call us back, but we never heard from them again. Some people didn't took their time to answer our queries. This first impression was a major deciding factor in choosing RealEstateLawyers.ca LLP as our lawyers.

Throughout the process, the our lawyer clerks was answering our queries and advising us on the next steps that we needed to take. Sometimes, when we call, we may not able to reach them, but with email they always try to reply with in one business day to answer our queries.

Overall, we feel that they are offering a good service and is responsive, especially to the emails. And offer excellent customer service.
