Getting updates on the appraisal status required multiple follow-up calls and emails. Response times were inconsistent, and I often felt left in the dark about progress or potential delays.

The final appraisal came in notably conservative compared to recent comparable sales in the area and market conditions. While I understand appraisers must be thorough and objective, the valuation seemed to overlook key market factors and recent improvements to the property.

If you're working with a tight closing deadline, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. The combination of slow turnaround times and poor communication could jeopardize your transaction timeline. There are other qualified appraisers in the area who can provide more timely service and better communication throughout the process.

Would only recommend if you have plenty of time buffer and don't mind frequent follow-ups to get status updates.
