The staff have always been helpful and friendly, but the wait-times can be very long. It seems to have gotten slightly better in the new location but still difficult when attempting to get work done during a lunch hour. (I take my lunches at different times, it's not just the standard lunch hour).

I don’t normally write reviews, but I really feel this rating is deserved.

1. Most of the staff is friendly, but to be honest every time we go in it’s a hassle. The staff seem to be under equity with the knowledge and tools they need for the job.

2. There are so many needless hoops to jump through. Once you do jump through the hoops, you are met with a “Next time just do it the way I said. Okay?” by (who I believe is) the manager. Not impressed at all, with such a lack of respect towards my husband or myself.

We ended up going to Red Deer and had no problems with our cars, licences, registration, and so on. It’s sad that we have to go to the city rather than go/support local.

Great service here!! I've been here multiple times: for like 3 different services. They were quick and very friendly and wonderful staff who helped and made the experience fun lots of laughs. To be honest I love watching people learn new things.

My wife and I moved to Alberta a while back and used the services of this office in Ponoka. The service received was excellent. We had to go into their office a few times as we had to get an out of province inspection done on our car. We registered a truck, a trailer and change over our drivers licenses. The staff was professional, friendly and very helpful. Will continue to support this business every time we need one of the services they provide.

Daughter took road test here with driver instructor 10439. He failed her first attempt so she took driving lessons in EDMONTON with AMA to address said problems. Driver instructor IN EDMONTON found all her driving good. Came back for second attempt with same driving instructor and he went out of his way to INSURE she would fail. In PONOKA. She can't drive in a dinky little town but she does just fine in EDMONTON!!!! DO NOT WASTE MONEY TAKING ROAD TEST WITH THIS GUY. Go ANYWHERE ELSE.

I've been dealing with Sue and the staff of Ponoka License and Registries for over fifteen years for my employer/business related transactions. Their knowledge, helpfulness, and service keeps me coming back for personal vehicles, drivers license, etc. related matters every year. Truly exceptional service. I can only attribute the negative reviews to people who choose to visit at peak times; they are a small office in a small town. Larger centers may have more staff with shorter lines, but I would challenge anyone to find more helpful or personable staff out there.
