I had a consultation for a new project at an expensive rate of $450, even though I was a past client. The Lawyer said she would be following up with a retainer contract to move forward but never followed through. Waste of my time and money. Totally unprofessional.

I have been very impressed with this all female law firm. They are very professional and hard working. I know my lawyer is very busy and has a scheduled time twice a day when she checks emails. I don't understand other reviews. If something is urgent, call. Lawyers are expensive and divorces are expensive but that's just how the chips fall. People complaining about fees should mediate their own divorces and see how far they get. As far as family lawyers go, I want someone professional, hard working, smart, empathetic and pleasant to deal with and they are all the above.

I have been dealing with this firm for over a year regarding a separation/custody case. My ex and I are in full agreement but it seems the only thing holding up the process is the lawyers.
I get no response from my lawyer and if I do she claims more often than not that she never received my email, but responds to the exact email chain she claimed to have not received or quotes it verbatim! Today I have given the firm one last chance to finish up a very straightforward file. I will update my review based on the outcome.

I have been dealing with this firm for around 15 months. My first lawyer was good, though very expensive. When she went on maternity leave in April, I was passed to another lawyer in the firm. In the last 2+ months, there have been nothing but delays in responses and it has taken multiple revisions of counter-proposals, each of which didn't have the instructions I requested (yet I was still billed for each one). I attempted to bring forward my concerns to the partners in the firm, to which I got no response but rather an email from the associate I was working with that said 'this isn't a fit'. After spending tens of thousands of dollars, I would expect quicker service, fewer mistakes, and for my concerns to be addressed - instead I was 'fired' as a client when I wouldn't accept the level of service I have been getting over the last 2 months. Not impressed at all.

Retainer was very reasonable compared to other firms. My lawyer was quick, efficient, and was always honest and upfront about family law. Closed the case within a year. Did not drag anything out.

Having used this firm before I called and inquired about a POA to be completed in hospital, was quoted the price and confirmed they do this service. I got called the next day and told we don't do POAs, strange. Family law firm doesn't do POAs? Wouldn't recommend even phoning them.
