New building, with loads of natural light coming in, making the space feel warm and inviting. Wide open and lots of space. Tons of places to sit and read a book or magazine. Lots of selection. Huge area for kids books, in a quieter area away from other sections. There are many video games of all kinds to borrow. Play Station and Nintendo Switch to name a couple. Vast selection of newspapers and magazines. You can even borrow items like snowshoes, and outdoor games.

Nice Library. It’s small but that’s to be expected since it’s in a smaller community. They have great access to materials, albeit, you may have to wait a little while for them to bring it in from another library, since they are connect to many other Libraries.

They have a nice selection of DVD’s, music and magazines. All of which seem to be up to date and in good condition. I’ve noticed that they tend to carry even the most recent book too.

The facility seems to be getting a little tired. They do offer plenty of space to sit and read, some tables to work on and booths for private reading or studying. You can rent a room easily for a private meeting, for a minimal fee.

They have some excellent artwork around the library with some commissioned works displayed too.

They also have items you can barrow such as snowshoes and exploration backpacks. Which is a wonderful idea and a good way to engage the public.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Overall it’s a nice library and a nice place to just sit and read in relative peace.

I haven't been inside the library yet - only just on the grounds around the library for the Okotoks parade and the family festival afterwards. The parade with CANDY is a highlight for all parade goers. Be sure to get there early to find a spot along the route. The festival has a great lineup of family acts on the stage. Activities for the kids include face painting, crafts, hula hooping, and balloon twisting. Accessing the library parking lot on parade day involves arriving BEFORE 10 am. There are benches in front of the building that can be used to view the parade.

I needed to get a document printed and had an absolutly stupid and rediculous costomer service experieance experieance trying to get it printed at Staples. I came here to try again and they were so good. I had it printed in minutes. Thank you Okotoks Library.

Nice library, friendly staff, and good resources for clubs and events happening around town. I just wish they had more study spaces and/or desks. That quiet room gets packed and sweaty.

Awesome place to be, everything you need in a library, and helpful staff as a bonus! I am not very good with technology and the staff went out of their way to get my task done!
