Nova Scotia legal aid gave my mother a complete run around. They misguided her, nearly had her not submit court ordered documents, staff assured her she would be covered, then her Lawyer "left" or got fired or something. Then she got assigned a new lawyer. They gave no actual assistance and acted like they were going to help for several weeks before saying 'no' for what I believe is no good reason at all. Now I am trying to help my mother out, when it should be Nova Scotia legal aid. I am both shocked and outraged by the experience of trying to get her assistance, and the absolute run around legal aid gave her. What a waste of time energy, and money (gas). NS Legal Aid raised false hopes and failed to deliver. NS Legal Aid was also a waste of prayers. I prayed a lot and thought my prayers were being answered, but no. Not at all. 0 stars.
