Once you go up the stairs, take the elevator on your right to the second floor — you’ll see the office directly in front of you when you step out.

This was my second time coming here, and once again, they helped me through a difficult situation. From the receptionist to the two commissioners (sorry I didn’t catch their names), and especially the manager Erika — every single one of these women was incredibly kind, warm, and respectful. They were patient, attentive, and never made me feel judged or rushed.

In hard times, meeting people and organizations like this truly makes a difference. Canada really needs more places like this — where help and support actually mean something, not just a process, but real care from real people. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

This place is terrible. I've called them for help two separate times and they don't even have the decency to return my call.Karma will pay them all a visit with bad luck.

Long before Covid, my issue was a work issue. I told them the situation, we went over the documents I had as proof. A mediation was set up and reached a settlement in a timely manner. I am and was very pleased with my representative and how the situation was handled!

Rude, dismissive, entirely unhelpful. These are the words I would use to describe them.

I went in with a LTB issue. They did nothing but give me a phone number for a legal advice hotline. I tried to explain the details of my case and they wouldn't even listen, they literally told me they wouldn't listen to me. They don't return phone calls. They're basically nothing more then a receptionist that hands off people to a phone hotline.

A long time ago this used to be an office that helped people. When I was in college they helped me get ODSP coverage. But they are a shell of what they once were. This is disgraceful because a lot of people could use their help and they are not there to help them.

The receptionist is a delight to chat with!

The staff here have been nothing but kind to me. They made me feel validated in my case - while being honest. Additionally, they did a fantastic job at finding the best angle for the best possible outcome.
I’m very thankful for this service and hope they continue to receive funding.

the service acts like it wants to help you, but they are over-burdened by the needs of the community. unfortunately i was offered help that i didn't rec. instead of getting this help AS promised i was just told they are too busy to care about anyone person and then the help was withdrawn. actually theresa's words were : help withdrawn...done.......i don't see how that is professional at all.

i suggested to theresa that if she was overburdened so much by her work - as she described it..which just seems like poor time managment and disorganization....i mean she told she was sending me very important documents at that moment and then didnt she also offered to contact my landlord and then withdrew that help too...which ofc was delivered in a rude manner...instead of a professional one......maybe not to take on so much work if she CAN'T DO IT, i would think she probably has this issue in her daily life as well.

she then replied rudely and withdrew her offer for help, which i told her since she already offered, she was just now lying to clients. it was really a friendly suggestion on my behalf, because anyone who is in a reasonable state of consciousness would not offer help and then repeated not only not provide it, but then blame everyone else for their lack of follow thru....

it's just normal to give the help you offer, especially when i has to do with families being homeless..and if you are too busy don't OFFER in the first place.

talking to her on the phone was hard too, she kept interrupting and talking down to me.

i suggest finding a different source for information. unfortunately this service has become like every other free legal service in london. completely useless and painful to deal with.

i am in the most stressful situation of my life.
