I used Bryce Murray for my very first home purchase and was so pleased to have a lawyer who answers questions in a timely manner. The whole process was straightforward and his staff was very kind and capable. I will be using Bryce for any future home purchases.

In Oct 2018 Bill Heelis agreed to write a letter and send it and we agreed on a price. He later increased the price by hundreds of dollars. My last contact with him was Oct 18, 2018 and he said he was going out of the country and would get back to me when he gets back. Fast forward Feb 2020. I get a call from collections for a bill in the wrong amount when he was supposed to get back to me when he got back in the country and invoice me the agreed upon amount. If an office and a lawyer can not take care of very small details how can you trust them with anything important. In addition sending someone to collections for an error that they have made is just ignorant unprofessional behaviour to say the very very least. In addition the letter Bill wrote was littered with spelling errors.

I came to meet James Almas years ago when I was having ongoing issues with my ex husband.He was personable, fair and I will also say very aware of peoples finances. He did all of the agreements and work involved with what I needed. When all was said and done, all that was left was court appearances. Because I didnt live in the Niagara Region anymore, he advised me of another good lawyer in my region as he stated it would cost far too much to have him come to court for me. My ex had called Mr.Almas at one point on the phone after receiving a letter from Mr.Almas. After their conversation my ex stated, "call your wolves off, I dont want to deal with him in court". I have found myself in need again years later....same ex husband...I will DEFINATELY be calling Mr.Almas again. He is fantastic!!

Heelis Little Almas and Murray is a top notch law firm in downtown St. Catharines. Full disclosure, this firm is a client of my telecom business. As such, I am a regular visitor to their site. The building is a quaint century home that was converted into a very comfortable office with multi-floor offices for the various lawyers, support staff, etc. Meeting rooms are private and well appointed and the legal team of this company is very experienced in a variety of disciplines. Highly recommended.
