My original 5 star review of this firm is now over 5 years old but little did I know back when I posted this how amazing these people actually are. I’ve now individually dealt with David, Chris, Michael, Ryan, Scott and their amazing admin, and every member of this team has their own unique and effective style. Having been navigated and protected through a couple of the lowest points of my life I absolutely couldn’t ask for better. Our business thrives today for many reasons but a big part of this is having Michael Mulroney as my barrister.

Scott is really amazing, knowledgeable, and extremely transparent when he talks to you about your options! We had a consultation call with him and at the end of call, we felt like we had good amount information to make an informed decision. After 45 minutes of a thorough discussion, he gave me his honest opinion that I would be likely wasting my money pursuing the matter. He could have easily lied to me, took my money, and failed to produce a favorable outcome... M glad we spoke to Scott! I highly recommend Scott for his honesty, knowledge, experience, and integrity.

I retained a junior partner at this firm to help with an employment matter. I was originally encouraged when I first spoke to and retained him, but things went downhill shortly after that.

I had hoped bringing a lawyer into my problem to help me would alleviate some of my stress, but it only created so much more. Soon, my lawyer was bullying me over email, demanding things I couldn’t do and/or had no control over. I felt like he was working for the people who were causing my problem in the first place. I tried so hard to explain things to him, but he only continued to bully over email and not listen. I had 5 email correspondants of him stepping over me and he became incredibly condescending. I finally wrote a long email and just lost it. He did apologize over email after that, but it was followed by a myriad of excuses and he still didn’t attempt to understand my problem and continued to barrel over me. At one point I even tried to fire him, and he ignored me and sent me a horrible email in return. I felt so unbelievably defeated after being attacked over email again and again that I just gave up on the whole situation.

The worst part is that in the end I got a worse result than if I would have just handled it myself. I paid thousands of dollars - which I didn’t have to spare - to get a worse result. Not once did I feel defended. I wish I had handled this myself, the stress of bringing this lawyer on was unbelievable and I’d give anything to go back in time and not do it. Save my money and handle this myself…

This is only my personal experience with the lawyer I had. But there’s no way I could, in good-conscious, recommend this firm. I’d actively recommend against it based on my experience.
