I came here in Canada as a visitor. Meantime, a senior university alumnus of mine has encouraged me to apply for a work permit. He has found an employer for me too. Even though the hiring process should have been free of charge, but they charged me lots of money. To be honest, they ripped me off. To make things worse, the employer fired me in just about 10 weeks of my work. Perhaps, he was planning to hire another foreign worker to rip off again like me. I have also experienced abuse at work in many different ways.

After making the submission, Mr. Gani continued to communicate with IRCC regarding my open work permit application until a decision was made. He also gave me regular updates on my application status. Finally, I have been successful in my application, and received an open work permit three days ago. Now, I can work for any employer, anywhere in Canada. It has been a huge relief.
