I was primary plaintiff with Merchant Law for a class action Atrium transvaginal mesh injury lawsuit. When I had not heard from my lawyer for a few months, after he had told me the settlement would come soon, I phoned and was told that my lawyer was no longer there. And then wrote asking who my new lawyer was, I was told I was not their client( after 9 years and they had all my legal and doctors info) and they dropped the law suit, after I just read the company settled. I have all paper work signed by them that I was primary plaintiff. They never did send me my doctors and legal papers back. I was one of 100 according to my lawyer, and they hadn't even informed us that we were dropped, if I had not called and written I would not have found out. So unfair to us all who are injured by this mesh. I feel that if they do get or have gotten money for this, that we should all get our share, but they deny we are plantiffs, because they let out lawyer go.

Mr Neill started out very optimistic and professional, but overcharged me at the end after hand-delivering all of the information for a slam dunk. I feel I was probably charged thousands simply for him having to review my file with his numerous and ever changing assistants and students. I was charged for email inquiries when he took forever to reply or even do the simple tasks we had discussed. We were both dealing with family emergencies, but he was charging me $500/hr for him to produce subpar performance during his family issues. At one point, he sent a student to handle a very important court hearing and she failed miserably and wouldn’t have said sh!t if her mouth was full of it. In response to the complaint about Meghan Franklin, I actually found her to be quite astute and helpful in her tenure as his assistant. I’m thinking of retaining her for the future of this custody dispute, because she was still knowledgeable and caring about this case even long after we had last spoken.
