Our family has been to emerge 4 times and it's been very fast everytime. Both doctors I saw made me feel as though they really did care and there was no silly questions or concerns because if you're there you obviously felt it was important. Also, my husband went in for stitches after a chainsaw incident and he was in and out too. His stitches healed good and it was also fast when he went in for stitch removal.

I feel like these health care professionals probably see all sorts of things, from people who they don't think need to even be there, to people on their death bed, yet in my experience they give everyone the same respect and curtesy. Everyone I encountered from the triage, to reception, the nurse and doctor were all so kind, considerate and genuinely nice. Koodos to Mattawa hospital team, you guys rock! Thank you for providing this kind of service to Mattawa area, it is appreciated!!

I have always been treated great whether at Hospital Emergency or with my Family Doctor & Receptionist, located in this Hospital.

All, Nurses, Doctors & Staff whether
Receptionists, Emergency, Xray, Bloodwork, Administration, etc, I was always greeted with respect and friendliness, even when special accommodations were required, due to my personal situation, even though not a long term Resident of the Community! i p

I therefore have nothing but Respect and Compliments for all the hard working Staff of this Small but Super Hospital in Beautiful Historic Mattawa, Ontario

I would like to take a minute to thank the Triage nurse and Dr. Jayaraman who were working Jan 25th early morning.
They took amazing care of me and were both very personable.

A walk in clinic does better. I get nothing but attitude from a nasty skinny nurse. No bedside manner at all. No surgery can be performed there so why have it. So many of us need Doctors but nobody at the hospital understands our dilemma. No doctors and a lot of useless nurses.

For a no so busy ER I thought the care was slow, but that is our broken health system. In hindsight four hours including xrays not too bad. Staff were wonderful

Currently trying to reach any staff in the evening is impossible. Hit the automated switch board and all you get static or that mail box is full. For a hospital it’s sad that you can’t reach anyone within through any phone line. I thought north bay hospital was bad.
