He sure is happy to bill you. Results? Not likely. The longer it takes the more money he makes. Don’t choose this guy unless you want your divorce to go on for 5+ years and counting. What a joke.

We had a terrible experience with Michael Schryver. We need a Notary and made an appointment and was referred to him. He is neither empathic nor compassionate when it comes to working with seniors, lacking basic human judgment and graciousness.
It was extremely disappointing to see his approach, and lack of basic interpersonal relations and his callousness toward elderly people. At one point he started laughing at us and when we questioned this approach, he stated this is a personal reaction to his uneasiness.

Highly recommend!! We hired Gary to complete and organize paperwork in relation to a Real Estate sale out of province. Unfortunately we were under a tight time line and Gary prioritized us to make it work! The office staff are so welcoming and helpful. Billing was unspecific (lacking in details) and ridiculously high. I wonder if this legal team was trying to make up for losses from the Covid shut-downs. My legal need was a very simple estate settlement, with absolutely no issues - was very straight forward. I ended up firing the lawyer and dealing with the final settlement myself. Imagine . . . . paying $3,000 for a simple form letter I was able to download from the internet.
No wonder some people think lawyers are sharks.
I'll be looking for another firm if I ever need a lawyer again.

I have used Marshall and Lamperson for years for our businesses, real estate and personal. They all have been very helpful, understanding, professional and explain everything in detail. Doug has retired , so I have been dealing with Ryan who has been fantastic. I would highly recommend anybody in the Parksville/Qualicum area to get legal advice from this company. They will look out for your best interest as they have mine.

Communication was poor and the attention to detail on the home purchase contract they prepared was very sloppy (e.g. buyer/seller names mixed up, contract section clauses mis-numbered or with improper references.) Definitely would not recommend this firm.
