My husband and I have been dealing with Allison Read for multiple legal matters, from personal wills to estate matters. Every interaction with Allison Read and staff have been amazing! Allison has gone above and beyond for us. She is knowledgeable and handles things in a timely manner. She even helped to successfully settle a complex issue that other lawyers would not consider. She always keeps you informed and in the loop. There was never any guessing if things were completed. We are so grateful for her help, and if we could rate higher than 5 stars we would. I have seen Caroline on a few occasions for my will . She's actually amazing! She is an excellent listener and understood exactly what I was wanting for a legal will. I engaged Carolynne Burkholder-James to probate a will and also to deal with the legal aspects of two home sales. She was wonderful to work with. She took the time to ensure I understood the process every step of the way. I found her invoices for services to be more than fair. I will use her whenever I can and recommend her highly!
Prior to hiring Carolynne, I had an extremely hard time trying to locate the original copy of a very old will. I was told it was Mr. Marcotte that eventually found it for me, when it wasn’t even his firm that drafted it. It was a few weeks of phone calls to law firms in search of it. I was extremely grateful!
This is a firm that has gone over and above for me and I highly recommend them.

Only gave one star as it would not allow me to post my review with no stars. Horrible experience. Used Tamara Godwin for the purchase of our home, she could not have been less concerned with our best interest and was more concerned that the copany selling us the home was happy and that their concerns were taken care of. When we voiced our complaint to the owner, Tamara made up stories to cover her hind end. Her office could not even get my name or address correct on the paperwork. Complete conflict of interest and unbelievably rude to the point of yelling at us. Would warn anyone to use a different firm.
