Been going here for years since I was a kid. I took my daughter here, first time she’s been at the dentist. Have in mind she’s 5 years old! We went in for a check up, the dental assitant was very rude made me feel like I was in the way the whole time. The dentist was not informitive at all. All I was told is she ended up needing a filling. They didn’t communicate anything of what was gonna be happening. Day of my daughter goes in and since I’ve gone there for years I wasn’t worried. I heard a scream amd cry that sounded like my daughter if your a mother you know. I rushed back then and asked what was going on? The dental assitant said very rudely “ You booked a fill didn’t you, well that’s what’s happening“ I told them I will stay in the room. The dental assitant contiuned being extremely rude with the comments to the point I started crying in the room. During the whole thing my daughter was screaming and crying!! My daughter and I feel so traumatized during the whole thing. Definitely don’t recommend this place at all!!! The Dentist don’t seem knowledgable!! The Dental Assist’s are extremely rude!! The only good thing I can say are the front desk being very nice and polite. This place use to be great! Had amazing dentist and dental assist's but I’m so discussed in how it is now. My Grandparents would bring my siblings and I here growing up. I never thought I’d even leave a reveiw like this as I’m not for leaving a bad review. But I’m horrified on how this whole situation takin place. I will not be coming back! I hope people that go here don’t have the experience we did.

Worse place to get get any help from them. The dentist Dr Lee was so rude. Can't get in even if its an emergency. You have to wait for half a year to even get teeth cleaned. I found a new Dentist that will actually help you.

I have been going to this office and I have nothing but excellent care. I worked in a dental office for over 25 years and seen a lot of change. I hate to say it but most of the dental offices are now more interested in the bottom line not the patient. The Doctors at this office are focused more on the patient than the all mighty dollar. It is very comforting to know there are still concerned and compassionate dentists practicing today.

I’ve been going to Maitland Family Dental since my family moved to the Wingham area in 2001 when I was just four years old. Even though I live a bit further away now I’d never considered switching from them. They’re the absolute best! Super friendly and very knowledgeable. They’ve gone above and beyond time after time.

Went there for my daughter and the dentist didn't let my daughter know much. Finally let's my daughter know that she is just buffing the tooth and she will be all finished in a few seconds. Few mins go (my daughter's new filling fell out) she didn't let my daughter know and my daughter says am I done? I said" nope.. your new filling just fell out they have to redo it!"
Talk to your patients especially children let them know what's going on! Then filled it up in 2 mins. completely rushed. No wonder it just fell out for a second time. Even when I spoke to the receptionist she was very rude. TELLS me that my daughters filling only fell out once. Ummm no I was there. Not my problem if they don't communicate or they hide what happens. I get that fillings can fall out but seriously.. minutes after getting it done? and then a week later? My daughter doesn't want to go back there nor do I because I believe we will just waste more time and it will happen again. I told them I wanted to switch dentists all together and they were just so ignorant.
I don't care if I have to repay for the tooth that's already paid for if it means traveling to a good dentist and getting the proper respect and treatment my daughter should have gotten from the start.
Will never walk through those doors again.

I can't honestly say that I enjoy going to the dentist, but I find the staff at Maitland Family Dental to be extremely accommodating and kind. Friendly faces and greetings begin the moment you step in the door and continue throughout the entire process. The girls at the front desk are always so congenial, the dentists themselves are kind, caring and very capable, the hygienists and dental assistants are understanding and offer compassion and empathy. Dr. Han has been so great to me on several occasions and you can tell that she genuinely cares about her patients. Dr. Lui popped in at the end of my procedure with Dr. Han to see how I was doing. Seriously, I dread going to the dentist, but since we have to go, it may as well be someplace where the company is good. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone.

I had two teeth needing repair . After a short consultation a plan was put in place and work began. They listen to your concerns with no up- selling or extra charges. A busy , high volume dental office but no wonder, they are the best . Highly recommended

I used to be happy with the service I recieved, having gone to this dentist my whole life but since covid it has been a nightmare. I tried for a year and half to have an appoinment and they kept cancelling on me. They have put extra, not necessary, rules in place in their office. Like, they will no longer see kids under 6. Why? And they will only book two months in advance. They give you the impression these are public health guidelines they are following. They are not. I've taken my business elsewhere and the new dentist will see my kids and book my next appoinment 6 months down the road.
