Great Museum. Has alot of history for Lac La Biche, but also ties the information to world events. The exhibits are well documented with easy to read signage that helps to put the items in context. There is also a fun scavenger hunt and a wonderful model ship. The temporary exhibit on toys was also wonderful. Great for kids, took about an hour to go through.

Super interesting place with wonderful artifacts of the cultural and natural history of the area. I really didn’t know very much about the area, but this was a great introduction. The people at the museum were enthusiastic about sharing additional historical and about birding in the area.

The museum exceeded my expectations. I thought it would be a small provincial museum with few exhibits, but the exhibition is quite large and very interesting. I have been to different museums in Europe - large and small, and I can say that the museum in Lac La Biche has great potential. Special thanks to the museum employee - he gave an interesting tour and answered all the questions.
I recommend visiting the museum 👍🏻

The Lac La Biche museum was a fantastic visit with interesting Alberta history (like moose tufting and the biggest Walleye I've ever seen).

We saw the two temporary exhibits, one on Indigenous art and one on 100 years of women's fashion.

10/10 chill, interactive, informative

I really like that they not only had information about indigenous culture but also cultures around the world that have come to make Lac La Biche their home.

Plus, there was interactive games perfect for kids and the young at heart.

A wonderful History of not only this area that was incorporated in the late 1790's, but also a story of the diversity of the people's from around the world along with their lifestyles. Be it Trapping, Voyaguers or the Hudsons Bay Company. A wonderfully informative as well as enjoyable experience!
