I had a very poor experience with Mr. Korosis. I was billed for tasks that I did not ask him to undertake and he did not follow my direction as the client. As a lawyer, he is hired to advise the client and, in the end, it is the client's decision as to what actions should be taken.

Without me knowing, he accumulated many hours in the course of two weeks and, when I questioned why he had his junior lawyer at $400/ hour spend so much time on my file "reviewing" material that I didn't ask him to address, he threatened to take legal action against me, his client, if I did not pay within 90 days.

Another point about Mr. Korosis is that instead of giving me advice as to how I can contain costs and proceed in the most effective and efficient way possible, he always tried to guide me down the path of a worst case scenario which would prolong my matter and cause me to incur further costs.

Now, either he doesn't have the professional wherewithal as most effective lawyers, or, (I would hate to be accusatory) he was trying direct the matter to his favour as I had a very substantial estate which could easily fund him and his junior lawyer for many years.

I, personally, will never hire this man again. I found him to be very obtuse, slow and hardly knowledgeable. I was glad to be able to contain this mess by firing him immediately and talking my loss. He wasn't worth my time to fight for $10,000. I paid and walked away with no value received.

He is pompous, arrogant and confrontational (in a professional way) when questioned about his practices.
