Kim is an excellent mediator. My X and I were unable to say one civil word to each other when Kim got involved. I can't truthfully say we are much beyond that point now, but Kim was able to get us speaking rationally enough that we agree on and finalize our divorce. Kim is very fair and understanding, she is a great listener when she needs to be. She also knows when and how to intervene with a word or by taking one or other of us aside and being honest telling us when we needed to be told 'you're being stupid on this'. I'm not saying this because everything went the way I would have wanted. I know there was give and take from both myself and my X and that's the nub of what I'm saying - Kim got us to give and take when we were both too dug into our respective positions to do anything but fight about everything.
