If I could give a 0 star I would. From someone who has worked in the legal industry for 5+ years and knows how professional law firms are supposed to run PLEASE take my advice when I saw do you use this law firm. Long story short, I was moving from Ontario to New Brunswick. The house fell through due to issues with the bank, but I used first Lisa, who wasted hours of time only to find out she didn't know commercial property law, onto Ashley Scott. BOTH lawyers quoted me when I questioned fees at around $1000 max over the phone. moths later, I got a bill for $2700!! WAYY MORE MONEY then $1000! I say this is a scam. Ashley explained to me (after the bill was already sent) what her hourly fees were and how the billing worked. Why was this only told to me prior? Why was I told differently? Considering the house didn’t even go through this is fully what I call a scam. In my five years working for the legal industry I never witnessed a client get scammed and not be informed of fees. I ended up being lied to as I am now being charged almost 2k more than expected. When I was asked if there is anything they can do to make this better I said a discount. I never got a reply. TERRIBLE LAWYERS HERE. THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING THEN CHARGE TRIPLE THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT. I strongly recommend using any other lawyer.

Also, I do not see a review page for the firm. Only for this one lawyer. Im not surprised as Im sure if they had a review page for the firm, it would be full of people like me getting scammed. don't use Brenton Keenan LLP.
