He has done both real estate transactions and my personal affairs (wills, POA etc). He has always been available when I call and is most gracious and professional. His fees are fair and his work has always been outstanding.

Barry is an amazing lawyer and conducts his business professionally. He has been nothing short of friendly, helpful and thorough in our dealings. Highly recommended.. However, I give them a 3 star rating and not 5 because dealing with the law clerk has to be the biggest headache - she is very unprofessional and rude on the phone. It's almost July and she still is still trying to resolve an issue from March for me..quite sad to be honest!

A few years ago, they referred to me by my real estate agent for closing a house sale. They calculated property tax incorrectly, and I have to point out their mistake, so they could correct it.
I clearly asked them to provide me ALL the doc well BEFORE the signing day, so I could have time to review in advance. They only provided part of the docs.
On the signing day, one of the doc which was NOT provided to me in advance was included that I could not rent out part of the house (like basement). I told they it was NOT a requirement from the bank lent me $, since the person from bank never talked about that. I clearly did not want to sign that. They told me if I did not sign that day, so the sale could not be close, there would be late charges etc. It was already after regular business hours. I insisted to contact the bank to clarify that, luckily the mortgage agent answered our call and clarified there was no such requirement. Then they agreed to remove that requirement from the doc.
They supposed to represent my interest, NOT adding something that preventing me from renting.
I guess they just used some kind of template and did not really check what was best for me. Using template is totally fine, but at least use the right one or update as required.
