I had a very disappointing experience with Kaminker & Associates while processing my Permanent Residency application in Canada between 2019 and 2020. Initially, I was drawn to the firm by their impressive credentials and awards, but unfortunately, the service fell far short of expectations. The lawyer handling my case disappeared without notice, and the legal assistant was unresponsive—when she did reply, her responses were unclear and unhelpful. After the lawyer went on maternity leave, I was left in the hands of someone else who never contacted me back. Despite paying over $6,000 in legal fees, I received no support or clear answers.

When I attempted to escalate the matter, I was told the principal lawyer was charging even more money but still failed to provide answers to my questions. In the end, I decided to take matters into my own hands and successfully completed my Permanent Residency application myself. I highly recommend contacting the Public Officers from the IRCC and handling the process directly—it's straightforward and much more cost-effective than spending thousands of dollars on unresponsive service. I did not receive an apology, a refund, or any acknowledgment of the poor service I experienced. I would caution anyone considering this firm to think twice; it’s not worth the money, and you can easily do the process on your own.
