Watch out for this organization.

Had sent an email reply (where they were cc'ed for their awareness) in response to one I received from them (I received a T4 slip). Apparently, if you engage anyone in this organization by way of an email exchange of any kind, they will immediate attempt to bill you for services (without consent, prior agreement and/or prior arrangements).

I find their ethics highly questionable and they have been reported to the Certified Professional Accountants Association of Alberta for further investigation of business ethics.

Feel free to supply dates, times and content to all that you claim. T4 slips are required to be successfully supplied to employees by the last day in February each year. In order to sufficiently make last minute tax decisions, having the T4 would have been an advantage.

So, I ask again, do supply all of the dates, times, phone records, phone numbers from which you claim I made telephone calls from, etc.

Also, $125 for services never rendered I believe violates the this law:

So, we never entered into any sort of service agreement with your organization; you, at the time, never fulfilled your obligation for supplying the requested information in a timely manner, which according to CRA rules can result in penalties.

Also, as for hiding my name, this is one of several email accounts I use - this one is to minimize the spam that often arises from being on the internet. It is a common practice by many.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE! This is the most unprofessional bunch of accountants I have ever met. Last year, I was waiting and waiting for my tax return only for Tarek Jomha to amusingly say he misfiled the application. He found this quite funny. While following up, calls to both himself and his secretary were never returned. This year, Tarek made the same error and again multiple calls were not returned. This time, he seemingly forgot to file the application completely. He also had the audacity of accusing me of sending him text messages, when i dont even have his card and connect with him through the contact information on the website. Paying these people even $1 is worth more than their services. STAY AWAY.
