I'm sad to leave this negative review but unfortunately my experience was not good. I reached out to Ruscio over a month ago to get some help with setting up the accounting for a new business. I was greeted pleasantly by the receptionist but patiently waited over 3 weeks of being passed from person to person to get any real help. I don't want to leave names so the lady that finally called, after weeks of waiting and calling back, was very hyper and impatient and did not seem to want to help despite her literal job title being software related and the person I was told I needed to talk to. I hung up from the call confused and stressed but tried to absorb the information I needed to get going with my bookkeeping entries. This was one of multiple issues over the time dealing with them.
They seemed to not want to book a meeting or appointment to go over the things I needed in a professional way to get set up despite the fact that I asked for one multiple times.
I was told a price by the receptionist but then told by another person that it depends how things are set up when I bring in my stuff. I get this since it can affect the time it takes but when I asked for clarification on how to do things so it was set up efficiently for their preferences, I was told a different person would call me back but never did. I left voicemails that were not returned.
I was told after weeks of waiting for information on how to do things that now they couldn't guarantee my taxes would be filed on time because it's first come first serve....but they left me waiting for so long to get the answers I needed to prepare things.
I requested to set up a time to talk to the person that would be doing my taxes so I could explain a few things as with multiple businesses it's a bit more complicated and was again told someone would call me back but that was over a week ago now.
The last thing that was said to me by the software person was we are going digital so paper receipts either won't be accepted or there will be additional fees but they didn't know. I'm all for digital but most receipts come in paper form when you shop so now it sounds like we would be expected to spend hours scanning things? I don't know. It was all a blur of confused information and contradicting answers.

I tried to express my frustrations tothem to reach a resolve so we could move forward but they didn't seem to want to hear it and again said they would call me back after talking to someone and didn't.

So, I had to find someone else last minute who was lovely, answered questions quickly and pleasantly, set up a time to talk to me patiently about my needs and the prices were better. That's how it should be.

If I had seen a review like this, it may have saved me from weeks of wasted time trying to get the help I needed so I hope this helps someone else. I also hope Ruscio sees this and improves their service.

They have been doing my taxes for the past 2 years and they are the best in town. Reasonably priced and great staff! Highly recommend.
