I purchased a condo in 2023, and the legal firm handling the transaction was JDC Law LLP. Their extreme unprofessionalism was a traumatic experience for me. Due to their mishandling, I ended up over-spending by several thousand dollars. Furthermore, to the best of my knowledge, they also never refunded me my overpaid money (I had given them a cheque that exceeded the final amount required at closing).
It has been two years, I have told myself to forget about that unpleasant experience, and those lost was only a small amount of money compared to the purchase of the condo. However, today something triggered those memories and brought it all back.
Let this serve as a reminder: never work with any unprofessional lawyers.

Handling real estate transactions could be a stressful experience, which won’t be the case if you make the right decision to hire JDC Law LLP. Based on my personal experiences, the JDC Law LLP is the best law firm among the several other law firms I have worked with for the multiple real estate transactions I’ve had in the past, and my conclusion results from 3 considerations below.

First and foremost, Jen and her team was extremely professional, reliable, and efficient. They replied my emails and phone timely with clear answers, explanations, and solutions when needed, which brought a peaceful mind to me even in a stressful situation. After 3 lawyers and 3 years, I finally find Celia Hu, who helped me close my lengthy family law case successfully and efficiently. Celia has a personal interest in helping me reach my goal.
