Terrible Lawyer!!! I asked for a lawyer for my claim with VISP from from their website which she responded that I needed to provide info about my claim which I did. Then after weeks of waiting for her to even look at my case, I was told she wouldn't take it on since I already submitted my claim which she knew her from the start. I plan on submiting a compliant with the Law Society and will update this review after they process my compliant.
After reading the lawyer's reply, I already told her that I entered my claim and was waiting for 2 years now to get a decision from the start. She didn't address this fact in her reply. The compliant was she refused my case after provided my information after she read that I submitted my claim. I think there must be another reason she didn't take my case and she is just using that as an excuse. She is being dishonest and trying to avoid addressing my compliant.

Jasmine was highly recommend by a friend when my son needed a lawyer. She is absolutely amazing, her best quality is that although she is always busy she makes you feel like you are her only client. She takes time with you and listens to what you have to say with out ever making you feel rushed. Jasmine is honest and really goes to bat for her clients and has their best interests at heart. I engaged Jasmine Daya's law services based on her extensive self-promotion and credentials, only to find them severely lacking in professionalism and competence. From the outset, communication was sporadic and often delayed, leaving me uncertain about the progress of my case. Her touted specialization in personal injury law, particularly involving minors and nightclub incidents, did not translate into effective representation.

During our interactions, Ms. Daya exhibited a concerning lack of attention to detail, which was particularly distressing given the nature of my legal needs. Her team's follow-up was haphazard at best, with crucial deadlines overlooked and minimal effort shown in preparing for hearings. This negligence resulted in avoidable setbacks that prolonged the resolution of my case.

Moreover, Ms. Daya's personal ventures, such as her cookbook and podcasting, seemed to take precedence over her legal practice. This was evident in her distracted demeanor during consultations, where she often diverted the conversation towards unrelated topics, leaving me feeling unheard and disregarded.

In hindsight, Ms. Daya's bold claims of advocacy and her "edge" due to being underestimated were more akin to overcompensation for a lack of substantive legal acumen. Her self-professed resilience in the face of setbacks did not translate into effective problem-solving or client satisfaction in my experience.

Overall, my engagement with Jasmine Daya's law firm was a regrettable choice. I would caution anyone seeking reliable legal counsel to look elsewhere, as her services fell far short of the standards expected from a seasoned professional in the legal field.

Jasmine was the most professional, caring, knowledgeable legal counsel, I have ever met. Not only does she know her trade well. She is was very compassionate about our case. This young lady does not buckle under pressure easily. You can count on her fighting your case until the last word is from her. I had the unique opportunity of watching her in action and recently winning our long term disability case. I would highly recommend her. She truly knows her stuff. I also will tell you, she has a very good sense of humour, very personable while your waiting on counter offers.
