la vieille dame à la porte est raciste, j'ai demandé de passer le test de connaissances, elle m'a dit que je devais venir avant 13h, car nous fermons le samedi à 14h, j'ai insister qu'il est 12h55.elle m'a demandé mon identification ( la chose que je n'ai pas compris), j'ai présenté ma carte d'identité, et je lui ai expliqué que je devais passer ce test ce samedi, car je travaille pendant toute la semaine, elle m'a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de place disponible, J'ai quitté le registry, soudain j'ai entendus une Canadienne en arrivant juste à la porte et elle a posé des questions sur le test de connaissances, elle a présenté sa carte d'identité et entrée sans problème, je suis restée choquée 10 min dans ma voiture, et j'ai fait la décision de ne pas revenir une autre fois même si j'adore le Staf et sa façon d'en faire des services.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this time I feel like I should. After reading previous reviews about this registry, I was hesitant to book my road test here. However, since I live nearby and am somewhat familiar with the area, I decided to take the risk.

When I arrived for my road test, I was met with a friendly and helpful staff. My examiner was Navpreet (14811). Unfortunately, I didn’t pass on my first attempt, but that was 100% my mistake (I ran a red light). When I booked my second test, I was hoping to have Navpreet as my examiner again, and luckily, I did. Yesterday, I passed my road test.

I feel very fortunate to have chosen this registry and to have had Navpreet as my examiner. If I could give 10 stars, I would—5 for the registry staff and 5 for the examiner.

For those planning to take their road test, I’d highly recommend taking at least one lesson with an instructor. They can explain the test format and help you recognize your mistakes.

Recently passed my road test for class 5 with instructor Navreet (14811). Had a great experience, though having lots of driving experience in the past, but a test being a test, was confused a bit. Thanks to my instructor who guided me well before starting of, instructed well in advance to make driving comfortably and confidently. Thanks to her for being kind & generous.
All the staff is good for new customers, will definitely recommend to book for the road test as instructors are fully experienced and supportive, specifically thankful to my instructor, Navreet.

The examiner Mrs. Navneet given me proper and clear instructions before the test, it helps me to built up my confidence, she also given clear and proper directions without any confusions at the intersections. Don't go to this place, it's just a waste of time and money.
Examiner #14035 will do anything to make you fail. I've been tested 3 times for my class 5 road test at this place, and unfortunately every time he's the examiner, even though I told the receptionist I didn't want him, she said she couldn't see his schedule and doesn'tknow who the examiner will be and even before I finish my questions she says no (that's a lie, she makes the schedule and knows).
I've learned how to drive with a driving school and I drive safely but every time he creates something to fail me. The speed limit was 50 km/h. He said it was 40 km/h and that I was going faster. I told him I saw the speed limit sign posted at the beginning of the intersection. He said the law in Edmonton has changed in 2021. I don't understand, when I see the speed sign 50km why would I drive 40km/h? How can someone who doesn't even know the laws be an examiner?
The third time he failed me because I changed the lane after stopping behind a bus. He said I was too close to the other vehicle and there is no gap and that I didn't do a shoulder check. how can I change lane without a shoulder checkI am sure I have done very well and he knows that.
If he's your examiner, you'll fail no matter how good you are at driving.

Very nice and welcoming lady at the front door. She makes things go smoothly while getting things done at this registry.

I also completed my road test here with Navreet. I was skeptictical and worried about my road test after reading the reviews below, but I honestly passed my first time. If you know how to drive and are a confident and observant driver, you will pass.

I gave my road test and the staff and examiner was very polite and patient with me. My examiner name is Navreet. I definitely recommend coming at this location because the staff were really helpful and kind. Had a great overall experience.
