I would have given it 5 stars but the restaurant had limited service due to no staff. But you can walk 15 minutes if you are really hungry. Rooms were clean and up-to-date. Great location between the airport and downtown. Everything is within walking distance.

Great accommodation in Norman Wells. Previous photos don't do this place justice. Very clean and quiet hotel. It is a bit dated, but nothing wrong with that when everything works. Wifi was fast enough to work from there. The restaurant food was served in to-go boxes only. No complaints about my stay here. Fully recommended.

The restaurant in the hotel was short staffed during my visit, so all orders were takeout with your room being called when it was ready. I had the beef dip for dinner and it was a solid meal. For breakfast they do a continental with wraps out of a fridge.

The manager was also very nice giving me and the people I travel with rides to and from the hotel and airport

Room itself is nice and has everything you expect. However, the walls, floors and ceilings do not block noise well so you can easily hear other people and they can easily hear you.

I spent 3 weeks here along with my staff. While there I saw the other hotel accommodation in town and there is nothing even close to comparable. ||Even though very expensive ( as everything is in the area) it is great. Excellent mattresses, Eco friendly great toiletries, lots of cable channels, excellent housekeeping, and very spacious. I had a suite which was very large with a living room, dining area, full equipped kitchen ( no oven), jacuzzi , 2 televisions ( have to move cable box ) excellent view. ||||The food in the restaurant is fabulous.

Apparently this is the best accommodation option in Norman Wells. I stayed 2 nights in a fairly clean room. Noisy portable air conditioner kept the room cool. Two large and firm pillows on each bed / No soft pillow was available.
Restaurant was great in terms of food quality but with a very slow service!

Comfortable rooms, pleasant common areas, convenient location close to attractions. The comfort and modern vibe of this hotel was unexpected, given its location in a small northern town. The restaurant staff, service and food quality were beyond outstanding. These people went way beyond expectations for our group. Loved staying there.||I would have given them 5 stars but for the unwelcoming and perfunctory (almost rude) check-in clerk. Maybe she was just having a bad day. I know it's hard to find reliable staff in small northern communities.

Norman Wells is remote and options limited. That said, this hotel's restaurant was surprisingly good, and was clearly a local's favorite. Wait staff are from the Dominican Republic and very friendly, and the food was quite good as well. Breakfasts were notable--especially the omelets. And the portions were large. A little pricey but that's expected given the remote location and limited supply chain. The US dollar is strong against the Canadian dollar, so that offset the cost significantly.||||We didn't stay in the rooms, though speaking with some people we met, they seemed pleased with the comfort, amenities and hot showers with good water pressure.

Stayed one night at the end of a 2-week canoe trip. Room was very comfortable and well maintained. Bathroom was in excellent condition with toiletries, fluffy towels, coffee maker, and hair dryer. Plenty of hot water. Bar & restaurant were welcoming and we enjoyed a hearty dinner (group of 10) and breakfast (smaller group). The staff permitted us to use the washer and dryer at no extra charge....a real plus. Given the location beyond the end of the summer road and the quality of service, this place is expensive. Call or contact them for current rates. Be prepared for occasional power outages (they told us they are on wind turbines). WiFi wasn't reliable.
