The outside of the building was extremely run down . We could hardly read the sign as half the letters were missing . We decided to book with this law office as it has many positive reviews and on the phone we had a great initial conversation with whom we were speaking with. The inside of the building is just as ratty as the outside . When paying that amount of money for a service I expect a place to be well taken care of. They had a water cooler with no cups and they proceeded to give me a dirty mug to use to fill with water . Our appointment started late . We had Gary Hansen as our lawyer. He was absolutely not prepared for this appointment. He had no idea what it was about and should’ve had a list of information to answer for us . All he had was a blank paper and a chewed up pen and kept repeating himself and not giving us any information with confidence. We are charged by the minute and he had trouble completing his sentences as it seems he had no idea what he was talking about . I am extremely dissatisfied with the service we received today and felt this was malpractice to charge someone so much money for a service and not deliver what was as discussed . I believe he had no intention on helping us and every intention on taking all of our money.

Really good place to go if you need your finger prints included in your criminal record check. Don't need an appointment and it never takes long. I've been there three times and every time the staff in kind and helpful and the document comes on time in the mail

Where do i begin. I will start with the appearance, while it shouldn't be necessary to have an immaculate appearance upon arriving we noticed the sign outside had roughly 50% of the letters fallen off or deteriorated to the point of not being able to read. When we entered the front desk attendant took our ID's, which I'm not sure why that would be necessary for a 30 minute consultation but basically forgot to give them back to us until my partner had remembered to ask for them which is incredibly absent minded. Now the consultation itself here is the big kicker, it is $250 for 30 minutes, and $8.50 a minute afterwards with a minimum of 30 minutes, that should tell you everything you need to know. We come into this timed and costly consultation with our lawyer Gary Hansen, the owner, knowing absolutely nothing about our case, asking preliminary questions as were being charged. He spent the majority of the consultation rambling on and on about irrelevant and anecdotal things such as people he knows who share our profession and extreme ways to enter the US (getting pregnant or having cancer) This could all be excusable if he WASNT CHARGING ME FOR THIS NONSENSE. I had mentioned multiple times what i wanted answered and he just kept going back to the same cursory information about immigration you can find through a 5 minute google search. So i spent $262.50 on a 30 minute conversation that was genuinely less informative than a 30 minute google search seeing as how my results there would be instant, I swear it felt like he was trying to talk as slow as possible to extend the consultation fee.

Gary Hansen and his staff go the extra mile for their clients. The small office environment works for you as a customer, as you are not just a 'file', but rather a person that staff can identity and feel proud to help with visa needs. As a client, you are important to Hansen and Company. That is something that is very hard to find anymore. I use Hansen and Company for all our business visa needs at Lee Energy Systems Inc. and I recommend anyone needing help with any kind of visa seek out Hansen and Company for help.

In fall 2021, I went to the Calgary airport with my husband and my 5 months old baby to go to Houston. At the USA customs area of the Calgary airport, when an officer checked our passports, he retained my husband’s passport and took us to the USA Customs and Border Protection - Preclearance Administration Office. We are Canadian citizens and hold Canadian passports, but we are originally from Iran. They concluded that we all, as a family, cannot enter the USA, despite having valid Canadian passports. After one year, I talked to the Hansen and Company Canada and USA immigration center. Mr. Gary Hansen accepted to become my lawyer, he was very communicative and extremely responsive. I had consulted with an attorney before meeting Gary and he simply told me that there was no solution to my problem and suggested applying for a visa to go to the USA. Gary completed comprehensive research about my case and contacted his colleagues all around Canada to get more information about the cases similar to my case. Gary is very knowledgeable, patient, caring, approachable and a very nice person to work with. He is enthusiastic about his job and very much cares about his clients and attaining a positive outcome for his clients. He explained the whole process step by step and spent a lot of time solving my problem. His years of expertise and wisdom made the process very easy and stress free for me. I went to the Calgary airport and was able to go to the USA and it is all because of Gary’s work. I recommend Hansen and Company to anyone seeking immigration to Canada or USA or has been in situations similar to what I was. I was so lucky to find Gary, he is such a unique one that I can’t even find enough words to praise him.
