I initially reached out to numerous law firms before speaking with Peter from Hajduk Gibbs. At the time of seeking legal counsel I was experiencing a great deal of stress and emotional turmoil regarding my situation that required legal counsel.

Peter Quasah (a lawyer with Hadjuk Gibbs) kindness and compassion was nothing short of phenomenal as he checked in with me on a weekly basis to ensure that I was well. This act of kindness was above and beyond his duty but he did this out compassion for me. I will be forever grateful for the his caring behaviour and guidance througout this very difficult situation.

I was very impressed with the outstanding coustomer service that I received. The level of professionalism and expertise displayed by all the staff at Hadjuk Gibbs was nothing short of phenomenal. Omar Abdulhak is no longer with the firm but I reached out to the firm again, this time Richard Hajduk, responded to me the most proper professional manner possible he offered to sit down with me he reviewed the file and even gave me a great resolution.

I found him very intelligent and a good man very honorable.

I want the public to know this is a safe and proper firm to go to now. I wish Omar healing from whatever happened and what's going on and I hope he still comes forward and reaches out to me and makes things right.

If I can help someone not get ripped off of their money, please take my advice. Get a hold of a different law firm. I reached out to Omar Abdulhak, he talks the talk and I'm sure he can get the job done, but these guys will abuse your retainer. Very arbitrarily. He forwarded me onto Ivan, who's a junior lawyer but will charge you the price of a senior lawyer. They took a 5 grand retainer from me, quickly used it up over a couple emails and phone calls, then they asked me for another 5 grand. 6 hours of questioning and couple more calls and emails. Now they want 10 grand. On a slam dunk case that I already put together. I emailed them told them I could not show up for 2 o'clock appointment to discuss a bill that i did not even recieve, i was just told they wanted another 10 grand on top of the 10 grand i already gave them, because my wife was rushed to the hospital having a baby. They shot me an email saying i didnt show up for the meeting so they were removing themselves from the file and slapped me with another bill, I have dealt with a lot of lawyers in my life, this one was bad. Ive been asking for the bill and breakdown of hours for over a week. Still haven't gotten it. These guys don't care one bit, zero business sense and zero eticate!!! Do not hire these guys. Trust me.

Update*. I ended up walking into the trial by myself, and within a few minutes the judge simply told the other party that they filed the wrong application in their application got thrown out that simple. This Law firm should have knew that but they didn't they just run around charging me up the yin yang and bullying me, to be honest with you, I reached out to to see if he would give an apology. He didn't even think he needed to apologize didn't think he did anything wrong and his comment was that he couldn't even discuss the case cuz he was no longer the acting attorney.

This is the sad reality of the lawyers here in Alberta they need to be held accountable for these stupid actions they make.

I went before the court on my own, and the judge said that they filed the wrong application. Literally the lawyer said I'll get to keep the house for 6 months or so where I spent $700,000 plus dollars on. LOL.

This is incompetence, and it's against code of conduct with Alberta law society.
