I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Gordon's Downsizing and Estate for their excellent service and professionalism in assisting with the settlement of my Aunt's residential property. She recently passed away and Manson Slik and the Gordon's team utilized their expertise to coordinate every aspect of preparation and sale of the home. Painting, dispersal of furniture, connecting with utilities providers, home appraisal, home inspection and on and on- all without the Executors having to lift a finger. As an Executor who has handled over four estates in the past 30 years, having the benefit of a company such as Gordon's is invaluable. If even you are considering downsizing the task is enormous. Couldn’t have asked for better service. I am a young widow but needed significant downsizing to accommodate a new chapter beginning. Everyone was very efficient, cheerful and compassionate.

I was able to clear the house of things I wanted in my new place and then Gordon’s took over from there. Sorting, auctioning, transporting items, and the a quick sell, difficult in this current real estate climate.

I was so happy that we chose Manson Slik and Gordon’s Estate Services to help us sell our parent’s house after they passed away.
This was not the average estate house. It was a unique and historical but decrepit house and barn, both full of “stuff”, some saleable, some only worthy of a dumpster. We had visions of spending years cleaning out the house and barn enough to be able to put it on the market. We had a few real estate agents by to offer their selling strategies. Manson presented the most comprehensive market analysis and selling strategy of them all. Then, when we got to the subject of how to clean out the property for sale, Manson said we could just hand him the keys and he would take care of it all! We did just that and Manson and the Gordon’s team quickly got into action. An auction was held, dumpsters were filled and some poor person even shoveled out a thick layer of racoon poop from the barn! A sales contract for the property was signed about 3 months after our initial meeting with Manson!

Our parents home was valuable and full of stuff, and we didn't know where to start. Our parent's needed the equity out of their home to sustain them in their retirement residence, and the market was moving slowly post Covid, with higher interest rates, etc. We needed a plan to empty the house and get it on the market as soon as possible. Manson Slik and his team at Gordon's Downsizing and Estate Services were the exact fit we needed. We interviewed other agents, and they could list the house but could not offer the other important supports we needed and didn't seem as thorough as Manson regarding the property sale. Not selling our parent's property was not an option, and there were three listings on their street, and still are today, after 105 days ( at the time of this writing.) Our parents home has already been sold and closed. Our family would recommend Manson and his Team at Gordon's Downsizing & Estate Services to anyone dealing with the sale of a home, especially if you have the added complications of downsizing or settling an estate. With the detailed plan provided from the beginning, we had peace of mind, and the services were affordable at no upfront cost. No payments were made for anything until the house was sold and closed. Gordon's was amazing. They did everything- packed me up, sold what I did not want, cleaned the house, arranged the move, moved me in to my new place, unpacked and sold the house. Totally seamless, and completely stress free for me. I had a specific "point person" who was always available to answer questions.
This is the only way to move. I cannor recommend them too highly. They are beyond praise.
