Took my 4 year old for his first dentist appointment and the staff, hygienist and dentist were all fantastic. Sara the hygienist explained each step so my son knew what to expect and he felt very comfortable. He said he can't wait to go back!

I will start by saying I haven't minded coming to this office for the past two years. However...

On Thursday I had a hygienist that condescendingly addressed my brushing habits 3 times over 40 minutes. She also asked if I stopped taking birth control because I'm trying for a baby which might have to do with my mouth x-rays but she didn't say that so instead it was just uncomfortable to me. Then the dentist came in (I'm assuming), never introduced himself, worked on my mouth, spouted instructions to the hygienist so fast he must've had somewhere more important to be, then left. I felt like I wasn't even a person. Maybe a car in a mechanics shop. At the end of the appointment, my hygienist offered a few dates and I said I couldn't afford to go that often, which she acknowledged then proceeded to schedule me within that time frame anyway...

On my second day, I walked in to an empty desk for 10 minutes. When I went in they were fast and polite, I was happy with the attendees, though they clearly know nothing about the desk work because they offered to do a quick fix without disclosing cost and since I don't have insurance it ended up costing me an alarming amount. Also the desk worker wasn't there when I was finished so I found this out at home alone later. Also, after I paid I never got a receipt for me to see a breakdown of my $600, 25 minute visit.

My youngest son is on the autism spectrum and had a past traumatic experience with a dentist when he was young. At Glencoe Family Dentistry, everyone is so kind and caring. They always explain exactly what they are doing and periodically make sure he is doing alright. Every experience there has been great with both my son and I.

I want to express just how exceptional Dr. Iman Janemi is—not only as a dentist and surgeon but also as a caring and thorough professional. From the moment I sat in the chair to discuss my options, I never once felt pressured or rushed into making a decision. Dr. Janemi gave me the space and support to choose what was best for my own health, and I ultimately decided to move forward with extensive dental work that took place over a 10-month period.

Throughout the entire process, Dr. Janemi demonstrated a high level of expertise, professionalism, and genuine care. His assistant, Martha, was equally outstanding. Tara, who handles scheduling, is also a fantastic part of the team and helped make the entire experience smooth and stress-free.

Every appointment was clearly explained, and I always understood exactly what was being done and why. I actually learned a great deal about my dental health along the way, thanks to Dr. Janemi's thoughtful and educational approach. The clinic itself is state-of-the-art—I've never seen dental technology quite like what they have here.

A big thank you as well to the rest of the staff, who are consistently warm, professional, and helpful. The clinic is always impeccably clean, which speaks volumes about the overall attention to detail and care provided.

I've been to several dental clinics over the years, and I can confidently say this was the best patient experience I’ve had. I highly recommend Dr. Janemi and his team.

I am giving 2 stars for the friendly service & receptionists - Gail is great! However, I’ve never been more frustrated than I was during my 2 most recent visits. I switched to this dental clinic under the impression that Dr. Janemi would be my dentist. He was great. But then slowly, over time, I saw him less and less when I went in and before I knew it, I never saw him again. Every time I go in now, it seems I have a different dentist who I haven’t met before. Most recently, I had to have a crown put on and I sat in the dental chair for almost four hours. I felt like a Guinea pig, quite honestly. I left with a split in my lip - my lip had literally been ripped open and took 2 weeks to heal. I also had severe bruising on my cheek. It was the most awful experience I’ve ever had at a dentist and I wanted to scream and cry by the end of it. When I went back to get my crown (because the first time; I left with a temporary), I waited FORTY MINUTES in the chair before they actually started doing anything. I’m extremely frustrated & disappointed with my experience here. I really don’t like leaving negative reviews but felt this was absolutely necessary given the circumstances.

Great dentist! Every visit is comfortable with all staff ensuring you’re educated on your dental health. Fabulous “bedside manner”! Highly recommend!
