This review is not a difficult one to submit. Please understand that the situations I am about to describe are my opinions on how things went and had been either ignored or dealt with. Please, also allow me to apologize for how lengthy these opinions go on for, but I had a few đ The facts around my representation with this law firm seemed, to me, so disorganized, and as far as I believe, and my experience has led me to conclude, possibly, "derelict." I had been bounced around from one articleing student to yet another. During my journey to finally get my divorce, I have had to deal with no less than five articleing students with this law firm. I have also had to deal with at least three different lawyers and bring each of those people up to speed on my dime again! My information had to be talked about numerous times because of this, and I had to attend several meetings to bring my already known and unchanging information up to date with each of these individuals and it cost me each time. Even though this information was a matter of their records and already acquired with a cost associated with that collection. This was done over and over. So,now it has to be performed again, each and every time and not for free. I literally had to beg them very often to please move the efforts to finalize this forward, and my pleas were never addressed. I was finally able to get this to a settlement conference through one of those numerous lawyers, and once he achieved that on my behalf, that lawyer suddenly did not work for this firm anymore?!?! I begged for this to be concluded, and no matter my complaints and begging, this situation never got any closer ever! When I say "begging" (this is not even a tiny bit of exaggeration) until that one lawyer moved it there for me. I have had to pay very high legal expenses, and I very firmly and solidly believe my cost and the duration of time in getting this divorce could have been way less in fees and could have been concluded so much sooner and less costly. This is not a matter of waiting on time for our overwhelmingly high volume court responsibilities, but this was a matter of these procedures not being filed and moved forward by my legal representatives. This large volume of time consumed and fees incurred was not waiting on the courts to hear my concern and award the divorce, this was on my representation and not bringing this forward and to a timely resolve of that needed conclusion. I also made the reasons of financial urgency known due to the fact I had to pay rent to my estranged spouse on the family home that was already paid off since 2001 while I waited for this to be finalized and for me to buy my former wife's share of the family home. These pleas of high cost and urgency were simply ignored as far as any positive result being forth coming. Also, at my finally arriving at settlement conference, things were turned around, and due to no advice at all, and not simply poor advice, I lost several opportunities to buy for things that had already been agreed to in past negotiations. These agreements made prior and in writing were lost to me because I was not given any advice to help me secure these points, which again, I only after the fact realized these losses were not necessary and the information of me having the right to these items was not made known to me at the time, where I could have had my entitlement upheld and not required to sell these items. Now they are lost to me, and I had more than enough entitlement to enforce these lost points since they were already negotiated and agreed to in writing prior to this final hearing. This choice of representation not only cost me with legal fees but, in fact several other areas where it should not have cost me at all and at least one point aside from legal fees where it should not have cost me near as much as it had. If you deal with this firm after this sharing of experience and facts and any complaints you have after this regarding the touched on issues, is on you and nobody to blame only yourself. More info, but app cut out.
