After my experience hiring Gilbert & Larkin to complete an income study I have nothing positive to say. They were hired to complete an income study on facts and supporting data. It took months and months with very little progress. I ended up taking the heat and criticism for their delay. This study was not to be completed from unsupported information and assumptions but facts. Worst money that I every spent. I received nothing of value or with any type of validity. I was notified by them that I would be mailed a hard copy of the study. This never happened. I never received a hardcopy of anything after paying. I will go elsewhere myself in the future. This study has had many negative effects for me moving forward with my future.

I find this a very unprofessional firm. I hired this firm to get their expertise when executing an estate and filing tax returns including the final return. I expected them to know what was required, and that's why I hired them. When it came to the final return they neglected to inform me that they required a true copy of the last will and testament . Instead, they filed with a photocopy they had on file which resulted in the government rejecting it causing a six month delay in the closing of the matter. When I expressed my displeasure to them, there was no apology or acknowledgement of how this affected many people's lives in a negative way but rather i was met with defensiveness and curtness. I advised that I would share my experience with my friends in the area and on social media outlets which I am just getting around to now. Their response was to report to my employer that I used company email to complain. Who does that? Christine Larkin does!!! Luckily I was just casually reminded not to use company email. My bad. Do your homework and make an educated decision before you choose someone to handle important matters for you. The delays and errors were plenty. I will never use this firm again.

They seem ok but they do not interact with clients to review tax return materials before submitting, they do not explain the returns when they are finished and the clients never meet with the accountant. Kinda strange.

UNPROFESSIONAL. INCOMPETENT. EXCUSE MAKING HACKS!! DO NOT TAKE THE TIME TO READ WHEN A SIMPLE DOCUMENT EXPIRES WHEN FILING A PERSONAL TAX RETURN!! THEN TURN COWARD TO.AVOID EXPLAINING THEIR INCOMPTENCE!!

This is the worst place ever to get your taxes done!!! If you don't mind being put on a back burner and having mistakes made then this is the place for you! I don't want to even give it 1 star!
