Best legal aid lawyer! Gotten me down from a proposed jail sentence by the crown down to a conditional sentence and probation. He’s always kept pushing me to stay on track and it seemed to work out in my favour. Would definitely use again and recommend to all my friends and family in the northern bc area 🙂 Thanks Georges!

Best lawyer no can do what he did.

Honestly the most unprofessional lawyer I have ever spoke to. His client, in custody, asked me to contact him. When I called the number posted here on google, a man answered phone. I did not know if it was the right number because I was greeted with only a "Hi." I verified that I had number correct and I had reached George Rivard Law Office, he said "Yes. Bad time. Call back later." --- wait, what? I hesitated on the line in total disbelief I was speaking with a Law Office. He was obviously in a rush but instead of taking my name and number to call me back he told proceeded to go on and say "[he] had to go. Call back at 3:30." I asked 3:30 my time or his time and I was informed we are on same time and abruptly hung up.. We are one hour apart.
I called back and got no answer, sent emails with no reply.
There is absolutly no way that I would pay money for this lawyer to represent me. I would even have a hard time allowing this man to represent me if it was free through Legal Aid.

His client has been in custody for 3 months and has yet to be provided with disclosure. Has a very hard time reaching him as well.

It's been over a month since EI talk to this clown . Whenever I called him after court l, he would always decline my calls me tell me"I'll call you back once I'm done ." Or something amount the lines. I had to wait three months to get my disclosure form. But with Sigrid Thompson it only took not even a month, I am very upset and honestly sickened by how he runs his business. It's lawyers like this who ruin people's lives a only in it for the money. Sigrid Thompson would've had my cases dealt with after only 3 months of getting charged, this clown its taking a legit year!! To get my Carlsen dealt with . Do not do to this guy for any sort of law or criminal defense cases. This atterny is unprofessional and very hard to even get a phone call with .
