I engaged Gateway Law Corporation to close a house sale. I will never go back for the following reasons:
1. Lack of legal knowledge: throughout the transaction, I was solely dealing with the assistant who isn’t well versed in real estate law.
2. Don’t have the client’s best interest: related to point #1, because of the knowledge gap between counter party lawyer and Gateway, Gateway agreed to all requests from the other lawyer, without any push backs, while providing no support to their own client. I suffered financial losses as a result.
3. Poor customer service: Many of my suggestions were completely ignored (no acknowledgement whatsoever). Instead, they would respond with an ultimatum. This is a direct response to one of my suggestion to push back on the other lawyer: “If you agree to close the deal today, please sign the attached Statement and return it to us. thank you. If not, please confirm by email that you are not agree to closing the deal today.”.

This is by far the worst experience I've had dealing with a law firm. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
